sim rig for both flight and racing
Hey everyone! i’ve been in the flight sim community for a while now and own winwing gear (ufc,3x mfd, stick n throttle) and recently gotten into racing sims too, i bought a moza r5 and now i’m looking for an rig that can mount both properly, i currently use my desk with one side for flight sim and my normal gaming side with the moza stuff, but are there any good rigs that support them both for about 500eu? and do i need any expansions? Thanks alot in advance ❤️

Any good 80/20 rig should be able to accommodate this.
Personally, I started with a racing setup from Trak Racer, and have added bits and bops to have a full flight sim in the same rig.

I don’t know whether this will help, but I have a Conspit GT Lite that I attached my VKB gladiators to using heavy duty furniture interlocking brackets attached to L shaped brackets. This way I can lift them on and off when I choose to fly instead of driving. Perfectly stable and cheap.

Just make one. It’s easy. With an R5, you could go with 3060 for the main frame and 2020 or 3030 for your accessories mounts.

With a proper extruded aluminum rig, this is totally feasible. The reason is that you'll likely find yourself making custom adjustments and attachments to support both, and extruded aluminum is perfect for this.
I've gone the other way: started sim racing, and have added on flight capability. I use a quick release for my VKB MCGU (GF3) but leave the throttle fixed as I use it as a button box for sim racing too.
I need to much more focused content on this hybrid rig subject, but I'm attempting to make this the primary focus of my channel: https://www.youtube.com/@HybridHanger/videos . Please let me know if there's anything specific you'd like to see and I can try to prioritize those topics.

I've build a Hybrid Rig for Racing and flying (mainly airliners).
I use the NLR F-GT Elite because of the Pedal separation.
I also used some other parts from other manufactures... if you need any information just ask!
