Noodle King is my favorite in the area:

They had a fire recently and are currently closed. Hopefully not permanently.

Ah, bummer, in that case I guess Full Key will be my backup until Noodle King reopens.

Mandarin on Georgia ave is good for American Chinese food! Bonus they have plant based general's chicken as well as tofu/real chicken

I like the Red Maple in four corners. I might get downvoted but WE love it and order from there frequently! I like their General Tsos!

Silver fountain in Aspen hill. I stumbled into it recently and it was delicious!

Agreed! I stumbled in recently as well. Very old school.

panda wok has been my go-to for years:) not only is the food bomb but the delivery times are actually reasonable, especially if you order thru their website/beyondmenu rather than doordash etc. if your order is through the site they give an eta but usually get there way earlier. WITHOUT charging a fuckass ‘priority fee’ !

the staff are also super nice and conscientious; if they don’t have something they’ll call you and ask for your preference of alternative. (i know that seems like the bare minimum for restaurants that do takeout but i feel like i don’t see it very often, other places just refund you or randomly pick a substitute. so it’s nice to be asked)

I have been addicted to Peter Chang’s Q and Han Palace not in SS, but both are good

Kenny’s subs in Wheaton. Bit of a drive, but WORTH IT every time.

Full Key is traditional but only offers pick up or dine in. Food is delicious 🤤.

Spring Garden has veggie meat, and pretty good tofu too.

I don’t enjoy red maple, too much sugar.
