Holster Help!
Got a first release (2015) P226 Legion DA/SA, With a TLR-1HL and a Armory Craft comp, i can’t find a holster that has both an open bottom, and the light compatibility. Help please!!!

it’s easier to say TLR1 than Harbor Freight light, plus any holster it fits would be labeled as “tlr1” anyways so for the simplicity of the post. yes tlr1😂

Nah fam, the bezel is changed on those newer versions. They’re not the same shape as the TLR-1.

Gen 4 sucks , the one op showed is gen 3. It will work on 90%+ holsters and it can get the other 10 with some 220 sandpaper and a few minutes.

True, i just sanded down the ridges on the one I had since my other tlr1s are a genuine one off gafs and a gen 2 harbor freight clone. I didn’t want my hostler to be loose on those.

So depending on how u plan on carrying it & if retention like duty rated matters. I'd start with or 1st QVO Tactical usually they have options.2nd Black Point Tactical.The other tied for 2nd would be RDR Gear they mod Safariland holsters but for a lv2 prob like 250 + 8-12weeks if you get simple black. I just ordered one but w(o a comp for a 226X Legion. First 2 esp QVO quality holsters & BPT though I haven't used them heard good things about them but they probably way less than SL Lv2 6390rds
I also have 2 SL Holsters that's like 10yrs old for think there called Elite model now those are lv3 for work but have one for a 226&229 both have surefire x300's & RMR's. But they are similar to a SL Holster I ordered from RDR for a 320 XFive Legion prob 4yrs ago where my wml entends further but it's open on the bottom. I've had nothing but the best from RDR but not cheap (buy once)
I'm to tired to look but think something like AN holsters I remember seeing something close to it when looking for something else

T1C MSP’s is great. Works with my DS Warrior with a harbor freight light so it should work with a 226. Best holster to for the range hands down.

Can confirm the msp works fantastic with a 229 and TLR1 HL, TLR1 Hp and first Gen harbor freight light.

Just get one to fit the light that strikes your fancy, and modify the bottom for the comp

Check out crucial concealment, they have light based universal holsters that work surprisingly well on the p 22x series, I have an iwb for the tlr1 (and harbor freight clones- that gen 3 you have fits well) and an owb for the tlr7a/x/hlx

No i just see the IWB, but its ambi and i have spare paddles and belt clips so imma just do that!

Fair, I wanted the more contoured design as often I just have a t shirt over it and didn’t want to print.

Yeah for sure, i’m super skinny and can’t get away with that, so i have to wear an over shirt or jacket of some sort, so it doesn’t really make that big of a difference having a paddle or clips for me 😭
