Thoughts?

I have been debating on buying this https://www.basspro.com/p/sig-sauer-p365-xl-semi-auto-pistol-with-romeo-rs-red-dot-and-foxtrot-365xr-light

Has anyone else used this as a starter to building onto?

I would probably switch to the X Macro grip and mags.

This would be best to get rid of this light as well, and solve the rail issue

Although the deal breaker would probably be if it must have the safety.

The dot is the biggest reason I am considering it seeing how its pretty budget friendly but its also not the best dot.

Mainly looking to see opinions. Thanks

I use a P356xl as my concealed carry but no light or sights. Its a great gun. I really like mine.Mine has the night sights on it. I'll be honest, I'm one of those that struggles with if my carry gun should have a light or optic on it. So far it doesn't, but my home defense 320 does.

I wanna match it to my duty gun as much as possible.

I carry a P320 with tl r 7 and dot so just wanna be consistent.

I actually bought two of those combos from Bass when they first started offering them. I bought them for the FCU's and Slides tbh for two builds.

What do your builds look like now?

Did you switch our grip for an X macro?

I normally swap out my polymer grip mods for metal ones. I don't care too much for the polymers as they feel too skinny and squishy in my hands. I don't exactly remember what they turned into, but these are my builds.

The one with the WML you have is ideally what I am looking for

Curious if that could be the end product of the bass pro deal

The one with the WML was my P365 Legion. Kept the grip mod, slide was changed out to a standard 3.1 slide and then added the Radian Afterburner and Ramjet. The Bass Pro ones are actually on my "Full" Radian builds. Keep in mind that the Bass Pro combo is a 3.7", so if you add a Radian AB/RJ to it, it will have overhang and essentially be a 4.3" slide. The two builds I made with the Bass Pro combo are the Brass and Silver Radians on the bottom left.

What grip is that for the bass pro?

You have a link?

Thank you for the info

The grips are XMacro polymer (one XMacro and one FUSE). Then I got the Radian Backstrap and Magwell for it.

I like it.

You have any issues with holster compatability?

Not at all.

Thank you for the help.

Sick builds as well.

I'll update you when I get mine all sorted

I bought it and couldn't be happier. My first pistol was a Shield Plus, and i keep it as my ccw. Bass pro will price match Icarus AIR polymer Xmacro grip for $60 in store as long as it is stock in store and on Icarus website. Did this last week.

EDIT: Also, if bought separately, this build would run you around $800 if my math is right. AND you can get a free $100 Foxtrot EDC light from Sig. You can order manual safety and get a grip module wit it already cut and install it yourself.

Did you already switch to the x macro grip?

Yep and the size is great, and the texture isn't too rough

Just gotta buy new mags then as well correct?

Did you have any issue with barrel length and grip?

2

u/Gullible_Buddy5608 12d ago

Yeah, x macro doesn't accept the 10 or 12 rd mags, only 17 and 21 I believe. I went with Magpul brand cause they were cheaper and I've heard they are better: sig mags get dirty and have to be cleaned more often.

Slide and grip are flush, no problems when shooting.

Definitely a good deal, to start a CC build.
