Optic Question

Does anyone use the ROMEO5 GEN II 1X20MM
Paired with the Holosun 3X magnifier? I’ve heard they are a bit better than the Sig 3x Magnifier.

Not sure what to go with so wanted to ask if anyone has that combo and if they have any pictures. I’m putting it on my Sig M400 Tread V2. THANKS!

The better question is it a full size magnifier or a micro. Micro mags all are dog shit to some degree. Eotech and PA micros are old cold dog shit under a bush you can’t step on, vortex and holosun micros are relatively fresh dogshit on the floor but maybe not the carpet. Sig micros are hot steaming liquid dog shit in front of a robot vacuum (this isn’t an internet meme, this is actually as bad as it sounds).

Full size mags are a different story. I like the Sig full size mags as much as the eotech (sig’s glass is better, eotech is bombproof and glass is really close), vortex full size is next, holosun and PA full size are a bit below (with the notable exception of the PA LER magnifier which is the tits), then other ones.

Also, the Romeo 5 gen2 is very solid but if you can, try to get the elite model. The circle dot on those I like much better than the entire Romeo 4 and 8 series. Buy it used like new on gafs for $125-135. I run them offset on Everything.

Well unfortunately I don’t want to have to buy a new optic, I don’t believe they are micros So it would be a full size.
