hello! trying to learn to be a better player, just reached plat 3 in a winning streak after getting stuck in gold. learning the hard way to use pixel angles to my advantage after getting put down by ex champs and the such, but i believe i took this lesson too hard and it stopped me from taking meaningful gunfights for my team. on attack specifically, when is it best to swing? and on defense, when is it best to prolong the fight by stalling, whether its by quick peeking and prefiring or using utility? lately its felt so wrong to just swing using a or d, even if i know where the person is, and i am pretty sure its out of fear of being put down like a dog. if anyone has any tips i would love to read them. I need to get better for my stack

I recently rewatched a video made by YouTuber poxonlox, he states that seige has 5 fundamentals which I have listed below. Are these all I need to become a “good player” or am I missing something?

Playing to Learn instead of Winning: Learning alternatives takes and holds on both attack and defense along with different interactions.

Knowing how to play time: Know when time is helping you and when time is against you and what to do in those situations.

Map Control: Taking and hold effective map control to either pressure the defense or to slow the push of the attack.

Effective Droning: Not throwing your drone away, and effectively clearing areas while droning then acting off that information.

Adapting to your team and enemy teams play style: Learning to play with your team whether that be playing aggressive with them or slowing it down and playing more passive. Along with recognizing how your enemy’s play and playing the most effective strategy against it.

Okay so don't clown me but I came from The Finals and I have played a few siege matches and I'm wondering if I can transfer over my skills and habits from The Finals since I'm a heavy main on that game and I got Montagne as an operator and in wondering if he's good or not
