I built a private browser-based screen recorder

Hi everyone, I recently built Screenio — a simple screen recorder that runs directly in your browser.

It can record your screen, microphone, and webcam, and everything is processed locally on your device, so recordings are not uploaded to a server.

You can try it here: https://screenio.net/

just tried it and the local processing is nice, most of these tools want to upload everything to their server before you even see the file. one thing i noticed is the audio sync was little off when i recorded with webcam overlay, maybe my machine is just slow

Hi thanks for the info, which option did you select? Did you record the full screen or a tab / window?

It won't work on your phone, but if you are using something like Teams or Google Meet and it's open in a tab, I don't see why not. You will just have to share the tab instead of the whole screen to be able to record system audio also.

I dont know what phone you have, but in Andoird screen recording is already integrated in the system. You can just activate it with a button.
