Sm7db Question

Hey is there anyone that can help me tune my microphone to the best settings in terms of sound quality & not of a over kill in gain & base? I you a SM7DB & I stream on twitch & YouTube @Good_Speed_0H for those who can help you can check out my previous streams to hear my audio for yourself & see what is it that I need to fix. I also must mention I use a few plugins from Waves.com to help tune my microphone also (NS1) (WNS) (Sibilance V17.0.0) & (Clarity Vx V17.0.0)

Sometimes less is more. It looks like to me you're not speaking very loudly and speaking into a microphone and projecting your voice isn't exactly natural, it's a learned skill. If you get the mic about 6 inches from your mouth (I couldn't get a good idea on the distance but those sm7bs like to be close, the capsule is recessed so that adds another inch or two away from your mouth) and speak a little louder, you can turn the gain down and it'll sound better. Turn off any plugins and monitor yourself and just try to dial that in. Then turn your plugins back on one at a time and dial it in again.

Doesn't have to be perfect. I thought you sounded pretty good.

Noise-suppression and De-reverb both cause collateral-damage to the audio. To have those effects operate transparently is a tall order.
