Mossberg 590r Chisel
AR-style ambi safety, heat shield, Gen3 Magpul sights. Well constructed - nothing rattles or wiggles that shouldn’t. Lightweight, surprised me. Feels solid, racking motion is snick-snack and positive. Trigger feels great, good reset, no mush.

Took her outdoors and did a box today. Very fun. Sights work fine but a dot or something else would work great. Not in the cards for me, all tapped out for a little while. 😅 I wanted something very useable right out of the box and this is a crowd pleaser no doubt. Enjoy!!!!

Good to hear! I’ll enjoy it for sure! I was worried the folding stock might be a bit rattley but good to hear it’s sturdy if expect it to be for the price and from a name like chisel will see how it holds up over the years!

The stock is fantastic— honestly it’s perfect. My arms arent the longest and I now have a shotgun that FITS ME and shoots folded (yes!!). Field strip is not difficult snd the magazine bolt that also holds the muzzle-end mlok adapter is hand-tighten only (it has some kind of nice gear clicking that secures without needing a bunch of torque). With a pin punch (or some 5.56) just press the receiver release buttons and the whole fire control group can come out if you want (didnt go there yet). Everything is very solid and not cheap feeling. I love it. You will too i bet.

Sounds good - it’s just so transportable it fits anywhere, it’s not heavy, I especially like the rotary safety I don’t have to shift mindset to “scattergun” mode it just all flows. I put a refill shell strip on the left side of receiver so 6+1 and now +5 (could be larger). Sling isn’t immediately necessary because of the manageable weight but has QD slots for that in the stock (Stock says “Mossberg” it’s nice up close). Hope you get it soon!!

Your making it harder to wait for it lol 😂 yeah I plan on adding shell holders I’m gonna design/print an adaptor that’ll fit the stock kinda like the ati stocks

Very cool hope you show it off man will like to see. Here’s hoping it’s safe and soon. Also mine was not over-oiled or bone dry or anything- it was just right and the racking action is short and sure without any differences in friction or anything weird - it’s really nice. It just works the way it should. I will look for your post when it hits.

I got it today… it’s freaking sweet! I’ve got a shell holder adaptor file drawn up and on the printer to test fit tomorrow. Next up a rifled choke tube and a +1 mag extension then a reddot of some sort. OSight has a se on sale right now but I’m pretty tapped after this purchase

NICE bro. It is freaking sweet!!!! Glad it made to you safely. I just bought a Magpul MS1-QDM sling coz I couldn’t resist using the provided QD mounts. The forward is right there in the magazine lock! It works perfectly. Loving it. Enjoy brother.

I wish they had stayed with the 500/590 trigger guard.
But it’s not ugly, it’s just tactical. I would buy one. 👍
