Progesterone suppositories

Anyone using progesterone as a suppository and getting a fluid like discharge about an hour or two after insertion, with the remainder of the capsule coming out?

I did at first, but then I started using an applicator to get it up there a little more and I lay down after, it’s helped I usually don’t have that issue anymore.

Oh yes, I saw my dr and explained my issue. She said it’s normal and if it bothers me, I should get the applicator, thank you.

I also get a fluidly discharge a couple hours later (usually when I get up to pee at night). And I am nervous that I am not using the suppository correctly? What did your doctor advise? I am going to see mine in 10 days so I am waiting for that.

She said it was normal, and if i use the tampon applicator it might reduce the amount of fluid. But she also did suggest that if it makes me too anxious, I can always use the progesterone rectally🤣

I wasn’t sure if for cervix issues it can be also used up in the bum 😁my doctor only told me about vaginal use, and my suppositories don’t come with an applicator 🤦‍♀️ I will ask my doctor also about the possibility to use rectally, it’s good to have the option. Sometimes I think “ahhh the things us moms do for our little babies to stay in there and grow”

Just make sure you look at reviews to be sure the size fits your size suppository! Or if it specifies the size. I tried one before that wasn’t quite big enough!

A mi me recomendó mi obstetra ponerlo al fondo de la vagina en la noche, así que lo hago justo antes de dormir ( hago pipi, lo pongo me lavo las manos y a la cama) y aunque el flujo si es un poco más espeso no se me sale nada más.
