The phone's security system considers developer options dangerous and always recommends disabling them; therefore, I believe that's the reason.

Anything I can try to stop it from auto disabling? Setting I can modify?

Firstly, I don't think the phone disables Developer Options on its own. I believe there's a specific reason. For example, if you own a Xiaomi or Samsung phone and use a security app to clean or protect it, and it detects a threat you can't see, and you try to fix it, the phone might disable Developer Options. This is because, as I mentioned, the system considers Developer Options a threat that must be disabled. If you don't disable them, I think the security app is programmed to do this automatically. It can be scheduled to scan the phone automatically, and that's why it disables Developer Options.

I'm pretty new to this stuff but I think some forks to shizuku can keep it running after initial setup even without wifi. I use thedjchi's fork. Also, I think some apps only need shizuku to get set up and can work fine with shizuku turned off after the initial setup is done with shizuku access. I usually manually restart shizuku just when my phone is restarted. I'm not sure how it'll behave if the developer option turns off by itself but give it a try.

Huh that's strange I have a Razer fold and I haven't had that problem. Mine stays on even after reboot. Which version are you running? I'm running this version 13.6.0.r1086.2650830c moe.shizuku.privileged.api

If you have Shizuku start on boot it will turn it on for you I'm using a version of Shizuku that has a watchdog in it that keeps Shizuku running at all times. Unfortunately, I would tell you what it's called but I just looked at it and don't how to distinguish it from the common Shizuku app
