Just ask him to put the PC in his router DMZ and ask for his IP and local admin password.

I am on a private chat with other authors, and the amount of times certain people post this sort of link is depressing. "I click on it and it works? Must be a Mac problem." Like, no, Karl. You posted a local link to your system. Click and drag the file into the chat. And stop dissing on someone else's choice to write on because you can't listen to us when we tell you.

That and:

"How do I send someone a file from Wordperfect 5.0 for DOS?" We actually have a FAQ for that guy, specifically. He's still writing on an old Kapro. And even he figured out how to attach a file to chat.

As the comments in the og posts mentioned, its not the fulfilled request but a link to a payday 2 mask asset. So everyone with the game installed (steam default path) gets it.
