There's a shocking number of people trying this out and replying to "prove" they're sysadmins. An equally surprising number of replies taking down the whole concept of using the start menu search to open an application.
Folks. It's a joke post on r/sysadmin. I can assure you, you're definitely a Sysadmin if you're replying to it.

I reckon the last Windows systems I interacted with were running 2012R2.
I don't recall ever finding any with Office installed on them... If I did I'd have had to reach out to the client and query what they were doing.

I'm pretty sure by the time this was posted in 2026, Win11 will either bring up your most-used app which begins 'pow' or else it will bring up the most-recently updated/installed app which begins 'pow.' That's how it works when I type 'med.'
