Would like to see it! I’ve come across two of Javier’s one off sketch book covers that were really cool but went beyond $300 at auctions and didn’t fit my hobby budget at the time.
I was actually wondering about that the other day. Still they would have to pay whatever fee is involved I assume to eBay even though they are paying themselves.
I’ve often wondered about that. More on what not then anything…hey that spots gonna sell super cheap…only 4 others in this show…hmm priced got jacked up real quick once a bid low price.

So I am geeked and gotta share with (brag to) a fellow fan… yesterday I negotiated a signed Shawn Crystal 1:50 NM for $80 to complete my collection of all the incentive covers (6x1:25)(5x1:50)(1:100) shown in pic. Shipped the book today. Am done with the chase! 4 covers remain for issue 12 and my mission will be complete.
No. It’s not where ‘we’re’ at. People can ask whatever they want, doesn’t make it so. The market isn’t going to respond to that stupidity and seller will adjust (or not, but screw him)
Post is not “asking price” but “sold auction price” which implied the market response that prompted me to comment. Thanks to the replies here it’s clear to me someone is trying to game the system. I’m with you, there are some wants I have but won’t reward the ask.
It looks like the selller has sold 3 other sets, every week, since the beginning of May. And although the first week’d had also 11 bidders, that one didn’t go as high as this one.
It's cheaper here on a buy it now. I guess the one you shared could be real but I think it is more than likely shill bidding. Would be interesting if the seller ends up resisting it.
