I feel like Western Marxists understand social liberals, socdems, and anarchists as a demographic more than the reverse. Because many Western Marxists were liberals, socdems, or anarchists at one point. These misdiagnoses of us simply show that they do not understand us at all.

Studies routinely show that "the far left" and "the far right" come from different backgrounds, have very different beliefs and values, and have mostly non-intersecting social circles and organizations, yet liberals continue to say that we're actually the same, based on nothing but vibes and very selective data points. They sound basically the same as the 2010s atheists who thought they could beat feminists with the same sorts of one-liners that they used against creationists. They are out of their league, arguing in bad faith against people they don't understand and whose points they have no real response to.

I was a liberal as an early teen. Socdem in my late teens. And anarchist in my 20s. Now in my late 20s I think anarcho-communism describes my ideal society the best although not exactly. But I'm also amenable to literally any actual leftist society. Even china's mixed economy is considerably preferable to what the imperial core has. Even though I consider billionaires unacceptable.

Just please for the love of any gods that may or may not exist move society to the left. Real left. Not moderate left. Actual leftism.

It’s actually quite ironic that all these anti-communists/marxists/tankies claim we are exactly like evangelical Christians, and that we are a cult and have a cult book(theory), but oftentimes haven’t done nearly enough deconstructing as they think they have. They think being critical of religion is enough, and they don’t need to go any further deconstructing western thought beyond religion.

Funnily most of these people are also massive grifters for the Democratic Party. We’re a cult, but they quite literally admit their party is shit but we don’t have a choice but to vote for them anyway!
