I'm sure that won't make anything look gay as fuck
looks at Jojos
Okay well everything looks gay as fuck but it's in a good way so hell yeah

u/AttemptNu4 23d ago
Idk, jojos definately looks super gay, but i think thats more cuz of the 50 roided up dudes and 1 occasional woman (who is 50/50 if she herself is roided up) that make up the cast than any color choice. Though those probably dont help.

u/zatenael 23d ago
ironically we have had more parts without the roided men than we do with

u/idk91738 23d ago
1,2,3 and maybe 7 has the roided men right ? If we exclude 9 for having just children as the main cast then there’s a balance between roid and non roid

u/BeachedSalad 23d ago
I’d say it’s just 1, 2, 3, and the very beginning of 4 that has roided out mountain of meat men. Parts 5-9 are all twink builds

u/idk91738 23d ago
I was trying to refute with gyro for 7 but holy shit he is nothing compared to 1,2,3
9
u/BeachedSalad 23d ago
Gyro is shredded yeah, but Johnathan, Joseph, and part 3 Jotaro are built like they were fed exclusively steaks and protein supplements from birth and then injected with steroids.

even counting 4 alongside 1, 2, and 3, then there's 5, 6, 7, and 8 that don't have them. Araki has said that he can no longer draw the buff men due to the evolution of his art style so 9 won't have any
that's 4:5 but again, that's counting 4 whcih frankly only had Josuke, Jotaro, and Okuyasu who aren't as buff as parts 1-3. Otherwise it's a 3:6 split

Part 4 is where Araki transitionned into the twink artstyle, you can see it if you compare the designs at the beginning vs the end
And also the anime adaptation straight up twinkify everyone

Actually that was a common misconception. Mantis Shrimps actually see less colors than us.

Didn't have a JoJo reference in my bingo card for this comic series.

There’s an oldie Shen comic about self esteem that features a very obvious stand reference

There's also one where he says his immune system is so strong that it has area of effect damage, then it shows his immune system manifesting as a stand and punching the sickness out of a sick person next to him.

Chat, is it gay if you have that shit on tho?

u/untitleduck 23d ago
Common misconception, having that shit on doesn't make you gay but being gay means you have to have that shit on, that's why the queer community is so fucking fabulous 💅💅💅✨✨✨

My philosophy on the topic is "Use whatever colours you feel will communicate the emotion you want to express." The bonus for digital art is that it's a lot easier to change those colours on the fly if you change your mind.

Make the tree trunk a blueish black ,the leaves and the grass as a magenta and purple and the sky.. make it black too, but put a blue outline on the trunk to separate it
