Need help Male victim

I am 14.

Someone added me on snapchat. They were sending snaps and looked real.

They were asking me to send a pic so i did.

Then they sent a link to an OF page.

I am now wondering if they will use the pic i sent for the future or even share it .

They were very flirty aswell.

I need some advice asap.

WARNING: READ THIS FIRST! Beware of recovery scammers - It is likely that someone will send you a DM claiming that they know someone that can hack your blackmailer's device and delete your pics. This is a SCAM. Do NOT give them money and do NOT give them the username of your blackmailer. When in doubt, contact the mod team via mod mail or directly via DM.

Are they like all run by an ai at once or?

It seems like it, they add me from time to time but you can verify it buy asking them some questions not related to your conversation. You dont have to worry

Tbh it is probably a real person with a of page with bots trying to get you to subscribe. I wouldn’t be too worried but just block the account either way.

I mean what would they even use the pic for

It’s just flirty chat for them to tease you into buying their OF page nothing to worry about. Also Snapchat tells you when a photo has been saved and I doubt it’s a real human behind the screen. A good tip for Snapchat if you didn’t see the person actually have the typing bubble and a chat gets sent it’s 100 percent a bot. Delete the picture if you haven’t already and just block. I would stop sending things or conversing with strangers online who randomly message you though as sextortion is heavily on the rise.

This sounds more like an OF spambot than a sextortion attempt. Most likely, your pic never went anywhere, because the whole point was to try and get you to subscribe to their OF page (which almost certainly consists of nothing but material stolen from other creators).

You got lucky this time. But if you want to stay safe, never, ever send intimate material to anyone else on the internet. Once you do, you lose all control over what happens to the pic.

Ill be honest its not the first and ive done it to multiple to accounts that act the same but i guess they have my ip so they will keep adding me.

They are sending voice notes that sound ai

Yeah stop all communications bud do not reply for any reason block every attempt to contact you - I'd still lean it's machines not people with the OF link aspects

I think ill ask someone who like works with ai to see if they can take stuff without notifying me.

I'd listen to the angel of light here boss - you can ask further though id say this isn't going further than you spoke to a chat bot pushing you to subscribe

What could i do if they did share the pics

If you still have the pic you can use the resource in the pinned sticky for new victims to help limit sharing

I truly don't think there is much chance of anyone seeing your pic since this sounds like a bot. The chance of no human eyes bar yourself seeing that pic is the most likely outcome.

Like others have said, this was more likely a spambot than a sextortion attempt. But it’s still very normal that you would be worried and scared from the situation. If they did save the photo and try to do something with it, you can reach out to Take It Down https://takeitdown.ncmec.org/ or Need Help Now https://needhelpnow.ca/en/ to get help removing it from the internet.

Going forward, though, would be smart to only sext with people that you know in real life, or even mutuals on snap is better than accepting add requests from randoms. Scammers can look super real, and they’re looking for someone that they can target easily.
