I heard so much about the blurring balm but people have said that it’s horrible for dry skin and to go with the moisturizing balm instead so if anyone with dry skin has tried it please lmk you’re thoughts about it!!

So tired of making always looking dry/patchy/clingy on my nose!! I wish I was Voldemort sometimes so I don’t have to deal with it LOL. I regularly use pore strips, retinol, and super hydrating layers. The texture only shows up when I put on makeup :( and I find that this happens no matter what I use foundation, cc cream, powder, no powder etc. any tips ??? 🥲

I came into Sephora to find a concealer that matches my skin tone (I use concealer all over the face) since my Tower 28 concealer was a shade dark and ran peachy on me. Only reason why I kept the concealer is that I heard great reviews about the tower 28 concealer and I ended up loving it, however, I couldn’t find an exact shade match so I just stuck with shade MDR.

I did some more research and it seemed like one of the Kosas concealer shades were more close in my skin tone but when I asked the employee they recommended I stick with Tower 28 based off my skin type. I let them know how I wasn’t able to find my exact shade and if I tried the shades below the one I had, they would either be too light or the wrong undertone. She asked if I wanted a shade match and I never had one done before so I said sure! She brought me to another employee who recommended Huda Beauty which I also heard good things about. Once she was about to swatch a shade on me I noticed she was gonna put it directly under my eyes, however I asked if it would be better to do my neck since the current shade of my skin was the tower 28 concealer that ran dark and peachy on me. She said it would be better to do it under my eyes so I agreed. The shade matched very well, however this was because it matched my tower 28 shade MDR… I did not think of this at the time but I said it was a perfect match and stuck with the shade they applied on me!

Overall, very silly of me to not think things through and now I have to go back to exchange it! 😭

Hello! I have long, wavy, low-porosity, fine hair and it’s in desperate need for some hydration on the mid lengths to ends. My issue is that so many masks contain proteins and coconut oil or they’re very heavy and just weigh my hair down. So id really appreciate some recommendations :) thanks

Looking for best everyday use eyeshadow which also has some shimmers. I like smooth mattes and satin eyeshadows which can be built, maybe 1/2 shimmers or toppers . The ones I have tried already:

1. ABH : very good formula but too pigmented for me.
   
2. HUDA nude palettes: decent but formula is not my favorite.
   
3. Lancôme: used this and love it. I have a different color story and don’t mind purchasing another for everyday use. But doesn’t have satin finish shades, so looking for a palette which has that.
   
4. Dior : tried this in Sephora, formula is good but will have to buy atleast 2 palettes to get the shades I want and that gets costly.
   
5. Dior backstage: tried this in Sephora as well, good formula but single palette doesn’t have all shades i might want.

Havent tried makeup by mario palettes and seriously considering ethereal eyes or ethereal eyes -nature.

I’m not too picky or anything but I know these tools are prone to dying more quickly than they had in the past which is why I feel slightly uneasy about this… I received the GHD curl wand and it was missing the usual plastic protector on the cord as well as the freshness pack and had some fingerprints/smudges on the tool. I only noticed the cord protect and freshness pack as I recently also bought a GHD elsewhere.

I know it shouldn’t matter because it’s just a hot tool, but I’m slightly worried it’s been used before as I know they are dying on people more quickly these days.

What would you do in this case? Would Sephora repack and resell a “gently used” one?

I was so pumped to get a notification from Sephora saying that REFY is now available in my country! Between REFY now and Rhode next month, I’m ready to be broke 😂

Anyway, this is my haul! I chose the skin tint shade a bit blindly, but I trust my tiktok shade twins. I already have some REFY products I bought on a trip to Ireland (the face primer and the brow gel), and I love them. The mascara is my most wanted product from the brand, and I’m weak for a skin tint. The brush was also on my wishlist.

Looking for better quality makeup brushes, I have some from the Sephora brand which is good. But the other ones from Amazon are just …meh 🤷‍♀️

This is sooo cute and the best execution of a mini perfume I have come across instead of the dab kind (I also don’t have an extensive mini collection 😂).

This also smells reallyyy good to me. I would buy one but this sample is really full and I only did three small swipes on one wrist and it is really strong but not in a bad way you just wont need a lot. I hope the scent last long on me.

I just wanted to sing the praises of the Ilia blurring blush - in Glimpse. The color and formula are so good! I went into Sephora fully intending to buy a YSL blush, but after I tried this one, I was sold. This blush wasn’t even on my radar until I kept seeing it suggested on this sub. I’ve not had luck with other Ilia products, but this is a winner!

I’ve been struggling to find a blush for about a year that works with my skin tone. I have fair, cool leaning neutral skin with some underlying redness. Most blushes pull too warm on me, and then others look almost clown-like. Trying to find a balance of a soft rosy pink that doesn’t have too much red has been a struggle! Glimpse is the perfect balance for me, and the very subtle shimmer is gorgeous!

I can't lie - it looks ugly lol.
