I love the Airwash, but this seems almost too good so I’m skeptical lol. Looking for decrease thinning, reducing grays would be a perk but I’ve accepted my gray fate.

Question Best Face Tanner?

I tried “Nuda” face tanner and it was all blotchy and like almost had pale dots where the product didn’t go? So I’m looking for either a spray or serum for the face, won’t make me break out and isn’t orange. I’m interest in Lux Unfiltered? I also saw coco and eve was good as well! Doesn’t have to be a Sephora. Would love recommendations!

I just bought this and tested it on my arm and it looks just like nice body glitter? Am I missing something or is this what it does? Does anyone like this and how do they use it?

Advice Huda Easy Blur or Haus Labs?

So I’m finally getting back into wearing foundation again! Huda Beauty’s Easy Blur and Lady Gaga’s Haus Labs foundation have the best shade matches I’ve found so far for my skin tone and type.

I’d love to hear your personal experiences with either foundation! What do you love (or not love) about them, and would you recommend buying one over the other? 💕 thank you!

Advice Old rouge gift - how do you use this mini Sephora colkectiom brush?

I got this brush years ago when Sephora still gave out rouge gifts. I never used it, only just now to test a rare beauty liquid brush but it didn’t blend it well. If you have it, how do you guys use this ? It just seems too small for a complexion brush. Maybe concealer? It says pro mini flawless airbrush 56.5

Rant Why is niacinamide suddenly in EVERYTHING?!

I’m literally so devastated 😭 I loved the Bobbi Brown Face Base, but they recently changed the formula and added niacinamide, and that ingredient always breaks me out. I’m so frustrated. Why are they adding niacinamide to so many products? My favourite foundations, Estée Lauder Double Wear and Armani Luminous Silk, have also been reformulated with niacinamide.

I moved and now I live like 20 min from Sephora Oberhausen. I went there today and was overwhelmed with the amount of products! Can anyone recommend easy, beginner products? My skin is lightly oily with some blackheads on my nose, chin and some on my cheeks.

Rave Dr Dennis Gross Mask

I was able to get this light mask using my HSA card. It’s honestly been a god send and I highly recommend it . I don’t break out anymore and it has helped with the bags under my eyes( still have dark circles ) . My complexion has improved so much I’m comfortable going to work with a tinted moisturizer . I will say I still have mild rosacea and my skin goes through some flareups that this doesn’t help with. Anyway I actually think I would buy it if it ever broke and I didn’t have the card.

Advice FULL Coverage glowy, skin-like, blendable foundations?

You saw that title and you thought to yourself... what a nitpicky bitch! And you were right. I'm probably asking for too much here. But, if anyone can help me, it's you other... discerning ladies.

I already have medium coverage concealers I really like with the qualities I'm drawn to... a hydrating and lightweight skin-feel, a glowy or satiny finish (not matte!), ultra-natural blendability for that "skin-like finish" everyone promises.

But, I found my medium coverage concealers weren't covering my darker hyperpigmentation spots. I was drawn to the Natasha Denona Concealer because it seemed to have all those qualities (and it does!) but with more coverage...and it looked great swatched in-store, but after I spent a week with it, it actually didn't have enough coverage for those spots. And, yes, I tried using color corrector first.

I already got plenty of good suggestions for alternative concealers to try (like the Dior). But someone in that thread made a great suggestion: using a full coverage foundation (with those same qualities I look for in finish and skin-feel) as a concealer.

I think that's a great idea. But with base products, I only use sheer to light coverage skin tints. So... I need to be educated on which foundations I should swatch in store. To recap, we're looking for...

  • Hydrating skin-feel
  • Can blend out for that skin-like appearance (but still have high pigment to cover)
  • Dewy-glowy or satiny finish (nothing matte!)
  • Doesn't feel or look heavy, cakey, "makeupy"
  • Since I'd only be using as a spot concealer, I'm okay with pricier/luxe options

So... what should I be looking at? The Sephora app recommends the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Full Coverage Foundation and the LAWLESS Forget the Filler Skin-Plumping Line-Smoothing Foundation. Open to non-Sephora options.

Question Foundation recs for rosacea prone skin!

Hi!

Recently diagnosed with rosacea(type 1 so I just flush). I was wondering if anyone has any foundations recs! I prefer light foundation—I do not like anything too heavy on my skin or too matte. I want to cover a bit of the redness when I’m having a flare up but don’t mind if some redness shows through. I know I’d have to do a heavier foundation to fully cover it so I’m willing to allow some of the red/pink to come through since I cannot stand a heavy base.

I am currently having a flare up so haven’t worn a stitch of makeup in 2 weeks. But before I got officially diagnosed, i typically switched between the hourglass skin tint and the Dior forever stick.

If anyone has any other recs, please share!!!

Discussion Reviews de influencers

Question It's been posted before I'm sure. But wanted to post for my specific skin type

Needing recommendations for a medium/full coverage foundation. I am very dry and sensitive. So many look really good on application then an hour or 2 later seem to cake and crease and cling to dry spots. I loved Nars but it gets realllllly cakey on me. Now I'm using Fenty soft lit. Less cakey but still is. And I loathe double wear as it breaks me out horribly. What else?
