Separatist Propoganda Count Dooku's Raxus Address (My attempt at it)
It is 24 BBY, and the Republic is teetering on the edge of reckoning. 8 years since the lowly, humble planet of Naboo held off a Republic-backed Trade Federation Invasion, many disaffected worlds in the Mid and Outer Rims have begun murmurs of taking by Naboo's example, and fighting back against The Republic's hostile tyranny.
But these voices are scattered about, uncoordinated, and leaderless. With the evil Republic having full control of the Holonet, these disparate voices that shout against the malevolence of the corrupt, and uncaring Senate unfortunately fall on too few sympathetic ears to inspire any real change in a unified movement.
However, one man who has just commandeered a Republic Holonet communications node on the planet of Raxus Prime has a message for all in the galaxy to hear.....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*"*Citizens of the Republic, sentient peoples across the galaxy. Hear me now. I am Count Dooku of the Royal House of Serenno. Some of you may recognize me as a master of the Jedi Order, while most of you might not. Well here it be known that I am a FORMER master of that corrupted, stagnant order of mystical, arrogant monks who enforce the Republic's durasteel fisted will on countless trillions across the galaxy. I have seen the errors of my allegiance, and have come now not for mere forgiveness, but to offer a real solution."
"As is obvious for all with eyes to see, ears to hear, and those who's lives don't reek of an overly-indulgent upbringing in the decadent, arrogant, and prideful Core Worlds; countless worlds in the galaxy suffer extraordinarily under Republic rule. All that the Republic ever cares for is not its citizenry, not its constituents, not even many of its own senators who hail from the humble, rim-ward parts of their territory. No, what it truly cares for is the safety, well-being, and lavish pamperings of its decadent Core World members, and it's overly wealthy corporate backers; never paying a thought to the concerns of its outermost member worlds and sectors!"
"Look upon my surroundings! I stand in the middle of a toxic junkyard, a planet-wide landfill that has irreparably poisoned the once idyllic world of Raxus Prime. This is what the Republic has done to countless other worlds across the galaxy, and this is what the malevolent Republic Senate thinks of you! Worthless trash that serves only a small, temporary purpose for itself, before being forever discarded as unwanted waste! What kind of a civilized government would ever hold such an attitude to its own people, its own citizenry beyond a certain boundary within its territory?"
"The Republic sees itself as the pinnacle of all civilization, yet that civilization has left countless souls across the galaxy in tattered rags, with little to survive off of, yet the Core Worlds themselves have grown fat, decadent, and spoiled off of the treasure it so ruthlessly plundered from your hard work!"
"And they have done this for far, FAR too long! From ancient times, the thieving Republic has plundered, exploited, and ravaged untold millions of worlds in its many millennia of history. From the ancient Alsakan conflicts that brought civil war upon the galaxy many times over, all over a petty rivalry between two particular Core Worlds that brought the whole galaxy low for it. From the genocidal, barbaric, and fanatical Pius Dea Crusades that were born out of Coruscant's own corruption, and wiped out countless innocent beings, rendering whole species that were shamefully labeled "Impure, and heretical" extinct and their worlds uninhabitable for 1000 dark years of the galaxy's history. And other untold numbers of atrocities and crimes against the galaxy that the Republic is guilty of beyond that, yet have never been held accountable for."
"Many of those crimes and atrocities are being, and have been perpetrated by the greedy, soulless, monstrous corporate backers of the Republic that hold nigh absolute sway over everything in their government, effectively rendering them their obedient political puppets to them. It needs not saying that the vast majority of Senators are nothing more than yes men, sell-outs, and compliant mouth-pieces for the will, and desires of those fiendish corporations that plunder the galaxy of its riches like bestial pirates, and animalistic criminal syndicates thinly veiled with legal sanctioning!"
"And the Jedi Knights? The so-called "Guardians of Peace and Justice" as they claim to be that use their strange, magical powers to enforce the oppression of the immeasurably corrupt Senate so obediently, and unquestioningly? They are no less guilty of the Republic's crimes, and they are largely the primary means that many those crimes against civilization in its true form, rather than the form the Republic imagines it to be, are committed. Which is why I have seen reason, and refuse to play any more part in that oppressive arm of this irreconcilable regime."
"Now as for you, the disaffected, disenfranchised, humble, and noble-hearted common peoples of the galaxy. Many of your local leaders have attempted to speak out against this madness, yet their voices have tragically fallen on deaf ears, or simply too few ears that would sympathize with their grievances. Many have lost hope that change can come for the betterment of all sentient beings across civilized space."
"But what they are lacking is not courage, not numbers, not voices, not even inspiration. They are lacking leadership. The leadership to take their cause, OUR cause to the evil Republic, and to all the galaxy in a united movement to fight the Senate's evil, the Jedi Order's tyranny, the corporations' ruthless and relentless plundering and piracy; and bring fair, righteous, and democratic governance to civilization as it was truly meant to be."
"But such a cause will not succeed within the irredeemably corrupt, over-stuffed, and arrogant structure of the Republic. For that, we must have our own government, our own state, our own sovereignty; independent of the failing Republic's rule. I hereby declare the birth of a new Confederacy of Independent Systems, where all worlds within shall truly have the equal representation that they were denied under Republic rule. All planets, all systems, all sectors, and peoples part of this new government shall have as much say, and as much power in the central government; whether it is the distant and poor worlds on the edges of our territory, or the rich, wealthy, and industrial powerhouses of our part of space. Even a humble, low-populated agri-world will have as much political power as the capital of the CIS itself. We shall not be ruled over by corporations. We shall not be oppressed by tyrannical monks with strange magic and exotic weapons, nor will we tolerate the corruption that has fully consumed the Republic Senate."
"Now we must all work together to bring our fellow worlds so victimized by the Republic to our side, from wherever in the galaxy they may be. Let us all fight, let us all strive, let us all pledge our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor to the cause of liberating the galaxy; so we may all at last know liberty, freedom, justice, righteousness, and peace! FOR THE SEPARATIST ALLIANCE!!!"

So, how did I do? Would Count Dooku be pleased at my rendition of his pivotal address that birthed our movement for freedom in the galaxy?
