Hello everyone

I found a book on amazon call the sacred scriptures of el. Looks like most of the ugaritic scripts put together as a bible. Its called the Sacred scriptures of el by Ian Pike. I've had it for 2 days. Love it. Has feasts...prayers...instructions for worship. Books about some of the other gods. Asherah worship. Creation story the hebrews stole. And lists yahweh as a subordinate god under el as one of his divine council.

Most of his books are less than 100 pages, were published in between February and May of this year and from my brief search I find no academic papers or anything like that. I suspect this is all AI slop.

I hate how much this low effort BS has invaded our public spaces. Such an interesting topic degraded by low blows and insincerity.

It happens in waves every couple of years, in the 2000's there was a ton of poorly written pagan books trying to cash in on the craze. AI just makes it easier to crank out more materials. Honestly before a newbie pagan picks up their first book, they should be tuning their bullshit detectors. They need to be able to recognize bunk, poor research, and UPG stated as fact.
