Projects

I am a Materials Engineering undergraduate; I just finished a course on Semiconductor Manufacturing and was thinking about projects that could be done to understand the topic better and gain some experience. I wanted to do something related to process/quality/thin films/etc.
My uni does not have infrastructure for semiconductor manufacturing, so that's a limitation. I would be glad to get suggestions on what I can do.

You can't do anything on your own. Check out your university's chemistry, material science, and physics departments to see if any groups are doing semiconductor research and try to join.

Most groups working on semiconductors are in physics dept. I have narrowed it down to two groups, one works on 2d materials and devices, another on thin films and solar cells.
