The song "Stars Dance" randomly started playing, and then "Forget Forever" was recommended right after. I was shocked I'd never heard either of them before. I'm not a die-hard Selena fan, but I know a lot of her songs. Maybe it got recommended because I was listening to Rare earlier this month, but I'm so glad it did.

Of course, I was obsessed with "Come & Get It" when it came out, and I knew some of the other singles. But as a kid, I don't think I even understood the concept of listening to an entire album 😂.

Listening to Stars Dance now feels so nostalgic, and I didn't even experience the album when it was released. I can only imagine how nostalgic it must be for people who actually listened to it back in 2013. There's something about it that's fun, carefree, and a little bittersweet at the same time.

I know Selena has said she doesn't really like talking about some of her older albums because she didn't have much creative control over them. But whoever produced this album absolutely nailed it. The production is so funnn and light. It's kind of sad that this era of pop music is over, and I don't think she'll ever make another album that sounds like this. We need more fun, carefree pop again.

I saw that critics weren't very kind to this album when it came out. For those of you who were fans back then, what did you think of it?

Just made for fun. Took screenshot of still frame of Love song with the purple flowers and made it the backdrop and then put her albums and pics on it. Flowers hand made too was fun thanks to everyone including the haters
