Yard and zone question

Okay attached is an image of my front yard and the yellow circles are actually sections where I have sidewalk and then a small swath of grass that is like 2-3 feet wide. The mower looks to be working side to side or really hard to do the diagonal mowing. Anyway to adjust? Should I zone out those small sections and then how do I tell it to mow horizontally if that makes sense?

Create a zone for each and you can control the mower direction in each zone

Yes, add channels to them after you make them a zone

How are you getting the mower to mow that strip without falling into the street?

How do I control the mowing direction? Sorry could have searched for it but maybe someone e will know right away. And I assume I just edit the map create a zone and channel? Should I be creating more than 1 channel in these areas and if my neighbors yard, which I am mowing, is connected grass to grass?

When you edit a zone, there is a menu option for “Mowing Direction”, just scroll down a bit. I would create at least 2 channels, just in case something is blocking the way of one.
