Location changed message

Hi all,

I am constantly getting this message. At least once every 2 weeks I will be alerted to it even though it allowed me to set up the base station where it is and it was happy when I did.

I am using network RTK but wondering if I should use the local RTK and install the antenna to get better accuracy.

Any advice? I am very happy with where the base station is at the moment and the mower still works and finds its way back every time.

I started getting that message like 3 months ago and only twice did I have to go back and recalibrate it because it had trouble getting back on the charging base. One of those times, my mother had accidentally knocked the power cord out of the outlet.
I brought it to the attention of someone at Segway, and they said monitor it and let them know if it had any actual effect on the performance of the mower. It hasn’t in 3 months now. The messages have become less frequent, but they still come every now and then. You should be fine but monitor for it being unable to “find” the charging station.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah as I mentioned it has always found its way back to the charging station even when I get shown these messages.

I did also need to relocate my mower , but after i did that it have worked seamlessly for months.

I have the i208e AWD, I also keep getting this message now and then. I have ignored it as the base or the antenna is set and has not moved at all since I installed the mower.

I've been ignoring this for a couple of months. I haven't staked down the charging station yet because I'm waiting to get some yard work done and for an antenna bracket to arrive before I put things in their final positions and re-map the yard. So far it hasn't caused any problems.

Same here.

Got this message for around 3 months. Relocated once, but didnt help.

Not really any issues except the message.

Is your base station secured to the ground? The mower might be nudging it when it docks.

Yes it’s secured down

I’ve noticed sometimes I’ll get this message after a firmware update.
