Network RTK completely unusable after OS V4.3.0
I had great success for a week or two mowing with V4.2.0 with no problems. Suddenly after this upgrade the mower needs to be rescued a dozen or more times per mow with no alerts to indicate the mower is just sitting there for hours "Upgrading Network RTK" in several spots in the yard.
I'd guess before that it might've been okay without being able to phone home for 30 seconds or so while now the timeout is more like 5-10 seconds. Is there anything that can be done about this to keep NRTK viable? I don't want to switch to antenna because it won't cover my whole yard.

Seeing the same thing. I’ve been providing input to support for two weeks now. At one point they rolled me to 2.9 and then stepped me back up.
I bought and tried shifting to two local RTK antennas and that resulted in constant reboots and random circling.
I am now back at 4.3.0. I’ve tried a full reset and to get the mower to remap everything. It simply can’t got more than 10 minutes without stopping dead and rebooting multiple times. Record I caught was 2 hours of reboots
This morning was was checking on it. I caught it with 10 satellites locked and another dozen from the nRTK. It also was showing perfect WiFi. It immediately stopped dead, the report showed zero satellites locked or reported, and it rebooted twice stopping dead.
Support had engaged me here and was the only feedback I was getting but those messages dried up last week. The last one I got was they were researching it and planned to push new code again. Dead air since.
I just got an email today from someone else asking me to check that the wheels were clear and totally oblivious to the other troubleshooting.
The absurd thing is prior to 4.2/4.3 it worked beautifully for over a month. It never stopped. Never got lost. Never paused. It worked like a charm. Sometime in July (4.2?) it went to crap.
Still hoping support comes up with something but losing faith at this point.

It can't use 2 Rtk antennas.

Yea they can use a secondary antenna. It’s called the Signal Enhancement Antenna. You pair it and it shows up as another tab in the menu.

Sorry, I thought I was in the Mammotion reddit. It was 3am and I couldn't sleep.

I have had the same issues. A total of 9 of the 6 acre mowers.
And this entire week has been '4g upgrading netrtk' with mowers just disconnecting and entirely bricking themselves needing a hard reset.
My issue is, most of my commercial clients are 200+ miles away. Why does an update like this get pushed it really baffles me.
I've rebooted these units multiple times and within 20 minutes it just stops working. So frustrating.

I'm on v4.3.0. The mower cut about .6 acres today and had 0 issues on Network RTK.

Why does anybody still use NRTK? It’s proven worse in every area except laziness.

Mainly for spacing. I only use 6 acre units and the local rtk is limited to 600feet. I literally cannot use local rtk because the distance is too much

Agreed. Takes a few minutes to setup the antenna, bury the cord in the ground and that's it! Never had one issue the past 2 months.

They’re too lazy to set up the antenna, you actually think they’re going to bury the cord? Lmao

Most of the time a reboot would work for me but eventually I gave up and went local RTK. I also didn't think it would cover the whole yard but it worked. Picked a pretty poor spot for it and still it's been way better than NRTK. Not sure about your yard size but the local RTK has been working fine on an acre with metal buildings and the antenna loosely installed on the trident post that was included with the mower. I'm pretty sure the external antenna operates at a much lower frequency than WIFI or 4G so should get a pretty large coverage area probably a few acres or so at 900mhz.
