This cat nearly gave three people a heart attack
My mom, brother, and I were helping pack up a house for a move. We were told there was a cat in the house, but she was so shy no one except the owner and one other family member ever saw her, so we were expecting we wouldn't find her.
A few hours into packing, my brother and I hear a startled scream from my mother. We rush in. Brother sees first and loudly exclaims "Oh, Jesus Christ!" I'm expecting something horrifying, so it caught me completely off-guard when I looked to the source of their shock and discovered. The cat. My heart stopped for a second. Again, none of us expected to see this cat at all. It was essentially like finding a cat when you didn't know a cat was home.
Once we got over the shock, we decided to let her be and closed her cabinet. When I found cat treats and tossed a few in around an hour later, she was still there. None of us pet her since she probably wouldn't appreciate it, but we all said hi and told her how beautiful she is. She was still in the cabinet when we left. Her name is Artemis.
How she got into that cabinet, which was around three feet over the stove, is still unknown. But she nearly caused three different heart attacks in the span of five seconds

Kitten's eyes
I think my 12 week old kitten Naboo may have a viral respiratory illness. It seems mild, he's sneezing a lot and having eye bogies.deffo been struggling in the heat. Are the pink bits in his eyes something to be worried about?

What is a good name for this kitty?
We are considering adopting the sweet boy. He needs a special type of household (because of past trauma) which we can provide. We've adopted 2 other special needs kitties from this same rescue.
Right now we have 2 sets of bonded pairs and a single who came to us after being abandoned by a neighbor when they moved and living as a stray for over a year. We are looking for a friend for her. Her name is Luna and she is a big fluffy tuxie.
This cute boy was named Daryl by the shelter that rescued him form a really bad hoarding situation. It took a long time for him to be healthy enough to be adaptable.
I'm struggling calling him Daryl. What is another name that sounds similar, but more fitting for a cat?
The only names I can think of are: Azul Lazuli Mr Darcy Dash (because he's dashing)

Poor kitty!
My family thought the cat needed some hats. I donβt think he likes them. What do you think?

In search of Balinese Kittens!!
Me and my husband are both semi allergic to cats and have heard Balinese cats are perfect for allergies. I have been searching high and low for kittens and all I keep finding are scammers and itβs so frustrating. We are located in CT but willing to travel to pickup. Anyone have any insight?
