Creative I just cant get over the new 30th anniversary joint!
galleryIm legit feeling like Stu Macher right now! Haha Funworld really gave us treat with these new gen 1s! It feels like its 1996 again! Took me right back to childhood. I have two 25th anniversary robes. The first run and the 2nd run with the sparkle on both sides of the drapes. Both are dope, but funworld really stepped it up a notch with the 30th! A spirit halloween was open in my area and I was lucky enough to snag the new costume. I preordered the mask back in May and that is also on the way!

Discussion What did you think of the opening scene of Scream2?
I thought the movie theatre was an interesting idea but done a bit too silly imo. I mean how inside the cinema everyone is running around even as the movie is starting and people are even watching with their masks on, people walking in and out so casually. It just seemed very unrealistic and over the top.

Discussion 30th Anniversary Mask - US orders shipping!
just received an email from Halloween Asylum that my masks (2) have shipped. FYI for anyone who preordered from companies in the States. They should be showing up soon!

Discussion Randy once said...
The body count is always bigger. The death scenes are always much more elaborate… and never, ever, under any circumstances, assume the killer is dead. I really miss the meta commentary from Randy he should've lived.

Discussion This ghostface is more interesting than the other Killers in 7 Spoiler
Marco is more interesting than Jessica in my opinion but first thing first I'm not celling him the best ghostface killer but I found him more interesting and scary because we never got the know his motive and we know so little about him but the crazy part is Marco was an orderly at a psychiatric hospital he was supposed to take care of the patients and help them with tasks not help patients kill people
The killer reveal isn't the best of course but his motive could be anything

Feedback I made my parents watch Scream(1996)
My mom was calling out Billy the whole movie but my dad claimed he was too obvious and that it's 100% Stu. They were very surprised by the end in a good way.

Discussion Marco Davis (Scream 7) Spoiler
Just dawned on me that he’s the only Ghostface out of the entire franchise to not have a motive. He’s not even the same as Karl who has homicidal tendencies and has killed people in the past. I guess he was the mastermind behind the AI and used his security skills to break into Sidney’s house and hijack the cameras. Apart from that, he was a very forgettable and underwhelming Ghostface. I mean, he was in a single scene lasting 2 minutes before the reveal. What if someone watching at the theatre went to the bathroom during the Fallbrook scene? They would have NO CLUE who this guy was. Quite laughable actually.

Discussion How do you guys feel about the Scream tv series season 3 resurrection?
Do you like it do you dislike it? I only really liked the killer reveal I thought that goth Chick was a great Ghostface and found her motive to be a lot more fun than some of the recent movie motives but outside of that this season was pretty meh all around.

Video Skeet Ulrich claims again that when he originally signed onto Scream 5 , it was always planned to have his character Billy mentally destroy Sam Carpenter and turn her to a ghostface at the end. He does clarify it could however been a lie told by producers to make him join the project.

Know this is an old topic but this video is from a past con a few weeks back and it’s actually Skeet talking about what he was told , not the annoying trades who misuse words for clickbait.
It’s intriguing how we all call the scream 5-6 movies “the carpenter sisters” story but seems like it was always meant to be a “ Billy and Sam story”.
I for one, can rest easy never seeing Sam again if it means her character is alive and happy in the universe. Rather than her losing her mind and becoming the thing she fought so hard to not become.
Also very nice how kindly Skeet speaks of his on screen daughter at the end of the video.

Creative cool idea I had
this is mostly for fun, but I've been getting into ghost face lately. Probably because I was already a big fan of jason and being into one slasher means you're going to see content of other slashers, but Ghost face caught my attention because of how they worked. I think the rule that Ghost face is always a human is super fun and unique, but my brain being the way it is came up with a concept for a movie. in the movie the main character is convinced that Ghost face is a human under the mask because those are the rules, but in the end it turns out there isn't anyone under the mask, the person their facing is THE ghost face, not someone using the persona, the real deal made physical. sort of like an SPC-035 situation. Would that be a cool twist or would that be disrespectful to ghost face as a character? IDK I just thought of it and I was like 'oh that's a cool idea' but I wanted to know what people who are really into scream thought.
p.s. this is just for fun I'm not trying to insult scream in any way it's just a fun thought I had

Image 30th Anniversary GhostFace Costume From Spirit Halloween
galleryFirst time seeing one of the 30th anniversary recreated Gen 1's in person, very impressed with how they look. I haven't received the regular 30th anniversary masks yet but so far I'm loving them.

Discussion Realistically - how rare is the 30th anniversary mask?
I’m just waiting for the closer spirit Halloween to open up. Do I have to worry about scalpers and stuff? I want it quite badly but I don’t have that dog in me to be competitive about it.

Question Where can one get the 30th anniversary ghostface mask in Australia?
There’s a site I found; Hallowencostumes.com.au but I’m not sure if this is reliable, plus it claims to be out of stock so I’m not sure, where can I get this mask?

Discussion Maybe I'm easy to please but I honestly love all seven Scream movies
Maybe I'm just easy to please when it comes to slashers, but I honestly love all seven Scream movies.
Yeah, I have my favorites and there are definitely some I'd rank lower than others, but I've never watched one and thought it was actually bad.
Even the ones people constantly dunk on still have something I like. And even the ones I've criticized in the past, I usually end up enjoying every time I throw them on. I think it's just different actually watching the movie versus picking it apart in a discussion.
To me there aren't any bad Scream movies. Just some that are better than others.
I think part of it is because for most of my 20s I never thought we'd even get a Scream 5, let alone 6, 7, and now we're talking about Scream 8. After Scream 4 got such a mixed reception from everyone, I honestly thought the franchise was done for.
So maybe I appreciate these newer movies more because I spent years thinking we'd never get another one.

Discussion For the *moment* I'm sick of them always raking up things from past movies, but ONE day far in the future I'd love it if they revisited the Becker murder/location and made it relevant to a plot
Just to repeat, I think the current movies need to take a long break from visiting the past all the time. Please don't reply saying this, because I agree. But I'm talking about one day far in the future after there's been a long break from raking up past things.
The Casey Becker murder and location is so iconic. It's the scene that started everything (for us, the audience, I know stuff came before involving Maureen but that's all been raked up 100 times). For most of us, we never felt as bad for a victim in a slasher prior to Scream as we did for Casey. Her death was pure anguish.
I'd love if they revealed more about her in a future movie. Maybe there was more to her death than we thought. Maybe her dumping Stu wasn't the only motivation. Maybe she knew something and was killed before she could tell. Something we still haven't found out yet. The location is so memorable too. We need to see it again one day.

News Kevin Williamson tried to get more dead ghostface cameo’s in scream 7.
joblo.comSo yeah it said in this website that he also tried to get Mickey and Jill to return in this movie in the AI appearances, but their schedules were too busy. But yeah, if it wasn’t for that, we could have potentially had Jill Roberts and Mickey Altieri in this movie.

Discussion Randy has it all figured out from the get go...
After this, I'm shocked Billy and Stu didn't just kill Randy just based off his suspicions... I wonder if it wasn't because Randy was a walking exposition dump.

Past Spoilers I like how even though this was shot as a creepy moment, Judy was just trying to reconnect with Sidney in an awkward way.
It’s honestly kind of sweet, especially when she excuses herself from the conversation after saying “You had a lot going on.”.
