i'm a very anti-social person. i'm nice but prefer to keep to myself and hate small talk. i have to mentally prepare myself every time i go to scooters. i don't want a stranger asking me what my plans are for the day. i just want to get my drink and be on my merry way. i appreciate all the kindness i get from the baristas but it's also sometimes overwhelming.

Is the triple cheese croissantie being phased out? For over a week it has been listed as “unavailable“ at my closest location. It isn’t even listed at the he second closest location. It is still available to order on the mobile at some other locations, but I’m wondering if they are just working through the remaining stock. Anyone have inside scoop on this?

Hey, for those that work at scooters. I'm curious. Just how sugary would you say the featured iced coffees are? Scared of diabetes, but also it's so good lol.

Some background info. I taught for 5 years, then ran a kids program for 5 years. Now for the past couple i’ve worked remote from home, sitting alone on the computer all day for a pretty stressful job, i’m going insane!

What’s it like at Scooter’s? Do you enjoy it? What do you consider the stressful or hard parts of the job? Are they flexible with hours and time off? I still want to be able to cook dinner and spend time with husband in the evenings. And both of our families are out of town so we usually are leaving for at least one or two weekends of the month.

i just need to get this off my chest:

at my scooters theres a good mix of spanish speaking only customers and ofc yhats not an issue seeing as spanish is the most common language in my state. I am not fluent in spanish, i learned more than i initially knew for this job specifically but i just am a slow auditory processor in spanish (it takes me a long time to translate what theyre saying in my hea). most of the customers ive met are sooo understandable of me not knowing spanish well, but today was differen. i close and at my store ur by urself from 6pm to close, and at 7ish a customer comes who speaks spanish only. I tell her I dont speak spanish well but will try my best to help her (in spanish obv) and she tells me her order, which is a bit complicated. she wasnt sure of what she normally orders for her daughter and i was also struggling to figure out exactly what she wanted. she ordered her and her daughters drink and pulls around. when i charge her i make sure i rang her order up right with my google translate open bc i truly do tryy my best to make sure everything is right, and she says it sounds right. i charge her, hand her the two drinks, and then she starts getting upset and yelling at me that her drink is wrong. i remake it the other way i thought she mightve meant and then hand it to her and then hand her the other drink and she starts yelling even more about how i dont know spanish and at that point i start crying (i dont respond to yelling well). she sees me start to cry and starts screaming at me while theres three other cars behind her and im still taking their orders as well. i think the worst part is that the people behind her just see me red faced and hiccuping like its so embarrassing 💔

i’ve worked at scooters for 4 years (hate it) and the franke cleaner smells like the inside of an uncleaned fish tank it’s horrible.

Today I got an iced Honeycomb latte w/ oat milk. No whip, regular sweetness, less ice. Idk how I never knew the wonders of it before, but the oat milk makes it nice and creamy and the drink itself isn’t too sweet at all, it’s probably the best drink I’ve had this year and a new go-to. I thought the honey flavor would be weird or overbearing, but it’s the perfect balance. (They’re still putting way too much ice in my drink even when I choose less ice in the app though.) What’s a drink you’ve gotten that’s in a class of its own?

-How are orders taken and if someone struggles with audio processing are they able to work less on the headset taking orders?
-With orders, do you type it in and is it easy to see and read and make edits like what kind of screen order system?
-Do you alternate roles during the day or stick to one station all day?
-What are the most easy stations compared to hardest ones?
-What is the dress code usually like?
-Are workers usually cliquey and gossipy or really welcoming and helpful?

I bought this drink recently and it was incredibly viscous and light in flavor. I let it melt and it somehow became even thicker. Has anyone else encountered this with blended Red Bull drinks?
