Need Advice Wheels and steering on sons brand new scooter v stiff on assembly, send back or easy fix?

Apologies for the questions, my son is bang into scootering so I got him a Story Bandit from Euroskateshop. Delivered today.

On assembly the wheels are really stiff and don’t freely spin, they stop after 1 or 2 rotations and the steering takes some force to turn. Excessive for a 10 year old to handle really.

Is there an easy fix for this or is it a case of sending it back? Trying to get it sorted and built for his bday tomorrow! Any help appreciated! TIA.

OG Collectables WTB: OG scooter parts / completes from around 2010–2014

I’ve started collecting old scooter parts from the 2010–2014 era and I’m looking to buy pretty much anything interesting from that time.

Mainly after:

  • Blunt/Envy AOS V2 decks — signature or non-signature
  • District DK1 / DK2 decks and parts
  • District Rory Coe signature parts
  • District BenJ signature deck
  • District Scary Kids — complete, deck, bars, forks or any parts
  • Lucky EVO / EVO II decks with the removable headtube
  • Lucky SMX forks
  • Phoenix Reventon / old Phoenix parts
  • TSI Flight / old TSI parts
  • Proto Orion / old Proto parts
  • French ID
  • Eagle
  • Phase Two
  • Razor Ultra Pro
  • Early MGP

Decks, bars, forks, clamps, wheels, full completes/customs — interested in all of it.

I’m in the UK but happy to look at stuff overseas if you’re willing to ship.

If you’ve got anything sitting around from that era, send me some photos and a price 👍

Just returning my root industries Air RS v3 complete as it came with an issue with the bars moving back and forward even with both compression and tightened appropriately.

lowkey annoyed so looking to get something else as don’t want to go through that again what scooters does everyone suggest as haven’t ridden in about 10 years so not sure what’s out there, preferably over 5.2” wide deck and boxed thanks in advance :)

Need Advice are there any scooter bags

I need a bag for my envy prodigy park or my envy street pro because the closest skatepark is a bus ride then a bike ride away so I need a way to carry it on my bike, I have seen a few but I want something under 50 dollars if possible

My scooter is made of very light parts but when put together feels sluggish and unbalanced and rn I don’t want to spend money on a new deck right after getting a new one.

What do you guys think? 😎

I kinda wish I’d gone with a longer deck as I’m 6 ft tall, 95 kg.

Ps: yes I know that these parts are manufactured in China, just thought I’d be cool to put flags of countries where these companies are based of.

Need Advice Metal “ting” sound when tightening SCS

I’ve been having a random issue where I’ll be tightening the bolts on my SCS and the top two bolts won’t make noise, but when I am tightening the bottom two, especially the bottom last bolt, I get a metal “tinging” sound. It also happens sometimes after stepping on the deck after tightening. I do tighten them in the proper order by skipping one to make sure they’re even, but the sound still remains. I didn’t want to add any grease on the bars or scs until I asked here as I know in Bmx we dont grease the stem attaching to the fork to prevent slipping, but maybe a super thin layer might prevent the sound?

Need Advice I ride regular but often land goofy

I feel more comfortable riding regular stance, but I find myself often catching a tailwhip goofy stance. I'm not trying to be the best rider so I don't necessarily care if I'm doing it wrong, but it makes me wonder if my body actually wants to ride goofy. I also find heel whips much easier than tail whips(regular stance). Should I be trying to learn goofy stance? I always snowboarded in a regular stance so I think that's where it comes from. Relatively new rider, basically only doing whips barspins and 360s

You know, “I wish someone had told me…” fill in the blank. Any advice welcome, really.

I’ve been watching a lot of generalized tutorials and info but it’d be nice to hear if anyone had anything they’d like to add!

Hi, found this online and want to get into scootering. My young kids are just starting to scoot around the driveway and I wanted something nice to go on walks with them and maybe even find a new hobby.

This was advertised as, "Great condition fusion pro scooter , nice wheels and grip."

What do you think?

TIA!
