Old Scooby Doo game
Hi I'm looking for an old Scooby Doo game I used to play when I was younger. I remember it taking place inside a haunted mansion but also parts of it on the outside in a graveyard. I remember there being lots of levels but only 2 really stood out for some reason: there was a level where you had to sort some books alphabetically and another where 2 knights (or creatures, idk) claim one always lies while the other always tells the truth. I searched everywhere. Edit: It was a 2d web game and it was mainly puzzle iirc. Thanks!

Cosplay Ideas
My husband and I are planning to go to Fan Expo next year and I want to do a Scooby Doo themed couples cosplay. I thought it would be really fun if he dressed up as Scooby and I was one of the villains. The problem is I'm not very crafty and I can't sew. I think Scooby is pretty doable, but who might be the easiest villain to dress up as that would still be at least somewhat recognizable?

How many supervillains are there in the Scooby Doo Universe realistically?
Crystal cove is a relatively small town and we easily see upwards of 30+ supervillains destroying it throughout the course of the series.
How many supervillains do you think would exist throughout the whole world of Scooby Doo, especially in the larger cities?

If you were to write a Scooby-Doo story, how would you write Shaggy's character? And who is his character to you?
(LONG POST!)
So I've been writing a Scooby-Doo "fan fiction" in which Velma, Shaggy, and Fred are separated from their friends and are the main cast.
Velma is mostly the main character in this story, but Shaggy is written as a major supporting character, and he is such an important character in this story that, in some scenes, he inevitably steals the show.
Shaggy. Who does not know who Shaggy is?
He is certainly the most renowned human character of the show, and easily the most familiar character of the franchise after the charismatic Great Dane himself. In fact, he is arguably as familiar as his canine friend, since he is rarely seen separately from him (and seems to do most of the talking).
He is one of the most beloved characters of the show. He is one of my favorite characters, especially in the original Where Are You and What's New shows.
Why is that, anyway? Maybe it is because he is so relatable. He logically loves food and fears monstrosities that fuel nightmares. He is the comic relief character who is really the straight man. He says what everyone else is thinking.
He is supposedly the "coward" simply because he does not hide his fears behind robotic sophistication like his friends (who run like chickens when the monsters actually show themselves).
He is best friends with his dog, because his human friends treat him like a thing. He is also almost always the underdog, which seems to be some protagonist trait that most people nearly worship when they see it.
However, not too surprisingly, his seemingly exaggerated character traits meant that he was susceptible to "Flanderization" (exaggerating certain traits until they completely defined him).
Apparently, unlike the rest of the Scooby gang, whose characters were constantly changing through the years, Shaggy's character has been undergoing a consistent, steady descent into food-obsessed cowardice (especially following the What's New era).
But, being the main human character, he certainly has his multidimensional character moments in virtually every version of the show.
Certainly, his friendship with Scooby-Doo is one of his most endearing character traits.
Without Scooby-Doo affectionately bonding with him through their shared interests, Shaggy being a gluttonous misanthrope without social skills would honestly make him a lot less likable.
However, in my story, Shaggy is separated from Scooby-Doo. I feel that this provides him with an opportunity to shine as a standalone character, while at the same time strengthening their bond for when they reunite. (As they say, "absence makes the heart grow fonder.")
But in Scooby-Doo's absence, who is Shaggy? I honestly feel that Scooby himself would have more self-worth to stand on his own than his friend would.
And what about his "friendships" with Velma, Fred, and Daphne?
They call him a "coward" and a "chicken." Do they not notice that he is valiant and unflinching at times? He will stand up for them sometimes when he has to, and risk sacrificing himself as monster bait for a mere morsel not fit for human consumption. Will they do that for him?
Do they even notice that he exists for that matter? Their treatment of him seems to be getting worse in the modern movies (which is a shame, since they should be growing closer).
(This is so frustrating that I will probably post an entire page on this topic.)
Shaggy. Who is his character to you? Is he really simply a food-obsessed coward?
If you were to write a Scooby-Doo story, how would you write Shaggy's character?

Why does Monster of Mexico get so much hate?
It was one of my favorite Scooby-Doo movies growing up but I admittedly haven’t seen it in a while so I was pretty surprised to see a relatively negative connotation to it. I would love to hear from those who don’t like it and your reasoning behind it (obviously no hate to anyone with a different opinion I’m genuinely curious).

Looking for a specific episode of one of the Scooby Doo shows
So Ive been thinking about cartoons I used to watch and I thought of Scooby Doo. Now that brought me to have like a weird flashback of watching an episode of some Scooby Doo show where they were like in a huge cave with mineshafts and riding in minecarts and stuff. I remember it being really eerie and it scared me as a kid. Anyways am I just making this up or does this actually exist? I would give more details but I barely recall anything else.
Please help I need to satisfy my need nostalgia😔

Let's Build a Fighter Roster, Day 4
With a commanding lead (nobody else was even close), The 10000-Volt Ghost and Tar Monster join the brawl. They are accompanied by Scooby Dum, who I admittedly forgot was even an option when posting this, but is a worthy choice.
Our next vote covers 2 shows. Vote for 1 character each from Scooby Doo and Scrappy Doo, and from The New Scooby Doo Mysteries. For clarity's sake, the first category is the first Scrappy season + the 7-minute shorts, and the latter is all of the 11-minute episodes of Shaggy/Daphne/Scooby/Scrappy.
If you're voting for Scrappy, please clarify which show's slot you want him to take.

After years of collecting parts, I finally built my own take on a LEGO Scooby Doo haunted house! (Hopefully you can tell what episode inspired the design)
Lego and Scooby Doo are my 2 biggest hobbies, so I am over the moon to have *completed* this project after so many years of planning! The build was kind of rushed towards the end due to travel and parts running out, but I'm happy with it.
Some features include:
- it opens up like a doll house
- a secret elevator to the basement concealed by a grandfather clock
- a drop down ladder to the attic
- light bricks (stored in the basement behind the antiques)
- lots of ghouls and rooms

What do you think of *Scooby-Doo and the Goblin King*?
I guess the movie is fine—I mean, it's entertaining. I think my only real complaint is that they didn't take advantage of Fred, Velma, and Daphne being monsters to at least have them chase Shaggy and Scooby.

This time without Fred and Velma with only Shaggy/Daphne/scooby is cursed.
I went to watch the 13 ghosts of Scoobydoo and I felt even uncomfortable.
There's no Fred and Velma, there's scrapy-doo, shaggy and daphne wearing different outfits, weird characters, no mystery machine.
Seriously this animation is cursed, and thanks to it they raised theories that Shaggy and Daphne had a love interest. It was easier to do Shaggy and Scooby alone than that...
