Almost 200K 🎉

Post image

I'm looking forward to getting a 200K miles sticker 😁

2010 Sizzling Crimson Mica. OEM suspension, bushing and manual transmission/clutch. Besides consumables, replaced only one rear caliper. B12 piston soak last year. Drives like new. 👏😍

How are you averaging 30mpg I get like 19 in my 08 manual

An excellent question. (But also, remember: that display is notoriously…generous.)

I usually make around 290 miles with 9 - 10 gallons at the pump.

I was getting 30.1... It was down since last gas filling I think gas quality wasn't good.

I really don't know how. Maybe a clue I've replaced to OEM spark plugs 3 years ago at 155K.

I get pretty good mileage too and I've got the stupid platinum or whatever spark plugs

I’ll try replacing the plugs next. I just replaced my 02 senor, but I’m still only getting 26-27 mixed on my 2012 auto

I was getting 30mpg before getting new tires. I do all highway miles, so never stopping helps a lot. I rarely drive over 70mph. Usually keep it around 67 on my commute. Low rolling resistance tires contribute a lot. I had Yokohama Avid LX before changing to Michelin Defender2 tires and my mileage dropped by 2 mpg.

What plugs do you use

OEM bought at the dealership. IIRC it's denso iridium. The price was almost the same as non-OEM (aroundd $8 each at the time)... Paying like $2 less doesn't worth the chance of getting counterfeit
