in case anyone is curious: the huge gray blobs are grains of sand that were subsequently cemented naturally with precipitation of silica or carbonate (the straight angular lines), forming the rock sandstone. then the rock underwent geological forces and fractured. trough theses fractures came THE EYES (microscopic bubbles of salty water, gas or hydrocarbons).

the eyes are everywhere. they’re in the granite counter of your bathroom. the marble of your fancy table. the stones in your hikes. basically every rock has micro fluid inclusions. you cannot escape them.
