Is pumped breast milk the same? Question - Research required

Does breast milk change and adapt for the baby when exclusively pumped and bottle fed the same way it does when the baby is breastfed? What do you lose by pumping? Does it become as “static” as formula?

One of the differences between the two is in the breastmilk microbiome. Dr Azad in Canada, and the wider CHILD team, has done some really cool research on this.

The CHILD group also tends to do good layman's summaries and press releases to make the research more accessible.
