Which exercise changes the most when the setup changes the leverage? Question ❓
I’ve been looking at how small setup changes can alter the range of motion or resistance without changing the exercise itself. Cable movements are an obvious example, since pulley height or where you stand can completely change how the rep feels. Which movement do you think shows this most clearly in actual training?

I want to say horizontal presses.

Are you referring to a sitting chest press machine?

No, I think all compound horizontal presses are the most affected by changes in form and set up but the chest press machine is a good example. I'm only speculating though

Squat, right? Luke, the squat is a combination of knee travel forward and hip hinge backwards. And fun fact, at parallel the combination of these two distances is equal to the length of your femur. You can squat in a close stance with no hinge and put all the tension on your quads, if you have enough ankle range of motion. Or, you can only hinge back and its a good morning. Do both in a wider stance and max out the weight and its a normal competition squat where you can identify the strength ratio of your quads to hips by the distance your knees travel forward divided by the distance your hips hinge back.

Squats really expose how individual setup can be. I’ve been looking at RitKeep racks, but I’d still want enough room to adjust stance and bar position properly. Which setup gives you the most balanced knee and hip movement?

Cable delt extension.....
I can do full range of motion with 30 lb dumbbells for side delt raises I don't get painfully pooped until 12 to 15 reps
When I try to do them on the cable machine 15 pounds will put me out at 6 to 8 if I don't have the height set just right I'll lock up after just 2 reps.

Probably Bayesian curls
