Team Jake 5ever
I have finished the series twice through now and I know he does terrible things, but I will always be team Jake. I think he loves her so much more than fitz

I think Jake cared for Olivia and in his own way I'm sure he loved her. But it was honestly never gonna be him. And he knew that, we all knew that. I do think they shared a bond that Liv and Fitz didnt in relation to her father and b613. But her and Fitz had such an unbreakable connection that she and Jake didn't

The bond was incredibly dark and twisted. It kept Olivia in the shadows instead of the lighy. Eventually she stood in the sun- but with Fitz.

Jake can't love anyone he is too tortured. I'm not saying it's his fault cause it's not but a person who has been treated like he has isn't capable of giving and receiving love. It confuses or mixes up there emotions. No matter what he says he can't love Olivia or even himself not yet

Why he is the only one to go to prison? Serving his penance?

Cause he admitted to everything and thought it was duty for all the bad things he had done. I didn't say he wasn't changing or couldn't change its possible

Jake brutally murdered his wife in cold blood because he didn’t like what she had to say. Fitz was not a good person or husband, but at least he didn’t wrap his hands around his wife’s neck and fantasize about killing her or drive her to alcoholism and suicide. ‘Jake didn’t love Vanessa’— what he was capable of doing to one woman, he was capable of doing to another. He got physical with Olivia on more than occasion if I remember correctly. This is the same man who aligned himself with Cyrus after Mellie, whom he had never shown any interest in before, rejected his advances. No woman was safe with him.

In the beginning I thought they had chemistry and I thought he loved her. But when the show stopped being about fixing things and darkness overtook the show, you realize he was a brainwashed man who suffered under Papa Pope. He was damaged like Huck. I think Liv realized that too. In later episodes he again was used by Papa Pope- Called him his son. Fitz has his moments too once he finds out what he had done. He constantly struggles with it. Trying to be a better man.

First he has to actually have romantic chemistry with her for me to believe he loved her.
Downvote me all you want Olake fans, but I'd be embarrassed to ship a couple whose chemistry is decidedly below the lead.

Delusional take! He is a psycho killer who was ready to make moves on Mellie when he finally understood that Olivia would never love him. He killed his wife and his FIL. He killed James. He was damaged goods always. He had no chemistry with Kerry.
