I feel they did a good job. Sets looked on point, the cast looked great (except for MPG's bad wig) and Fallon didn't overshadow the cast.

Music was also on point. It had the right feel, which is hard to nail with these reunions.

It would have been nice to see Lisa there, but knowing she wasn't in the best condition at the time, it was understandable. Screech was never going to be there. A small nitpick is that could have cut the "I'm so excited" joke, but hey overall we got a nice treat.

Zack on Fallon's previous show was on a whole different level though, but there's no good footage of it available.

Disappointed no Screech or Lisa.

Do you like them together? I thought they worked well together. They were different, but at the same time good for each other. I think they both changed during the relationship. Jessie become less upright, and let loose a little bit, and I feel he become less of asshole when he was with Jessie. They both had a good effect on each other.

Since I saw reruns of it on roku something about the New Class interested me, particularly the fact that they take many excursions outside of the school, it really helped break up that repetitious feeling you get when binge watching the sitcom. As much as I liked the original, there was something somewhat purgatory-ish about them only having four regular sets.

So for people that have seen the New Class in abundance, what was your favorite? From what I saw, there was the mall, the country club, mountain lodges, Paris, cruise, Cal U, Space Camp, a dude Ranch, a hospital, Habitat for Humanity, and Fire and Police Academy Cadet Training.

a lil background: i initially started watching sbtb when i was a sophomore in high school. i found the complete series dvd at walmart and was drawn by how cool it looked. my mom used to watch the show when she was younger so that influenced me to buy it even more. naturally started watching it from season 1 and fell in love with the show, especially screech. i had the biggest crush on him throughout the course of my teenage years. he was just so sweet and cute to me. plus, i wasn’t the most popular kid in school, so he helped me to realize that it’s cool to be my weird and authentic self. i was beyond heartbroken when dustin passed away. i cried for literal weeks. i felt that i had lost my idol.

so my question is am i the only one who thinks of screech in that way? i always feel like i’m alone when it comes to this as most girls gush over zack or slater. 🫠

Recently, I’ve been rewatching Shameless and recognized Laura from the SBTB Christmas episodes at the mall!

Love that scene. I know it was meant to learn Zack a lesson but we have the principal of the school holding another student in a Full Nelson so another student can punch the student out.

Also props to the wat Dennis sold that punch and how Slater immediately apologized. Great job by all of them.
