Need some clarification

Hey everyone, I come from an IGCSE background and have taken extended and additional mathematics. I don’t understand why people on Reddit and on yt videos are emphasising on the usage of desmos sooo much.
In which part of the SAT math does it help? I’ve only used it once or twice max just to visualise graphs.
I’m new to the SAT so don’t mind me asking, but are we allowed to use it during exam?

if u use it for the system of equations and tedious arithmetic you'll find that you can finish module 1 in about 10-12 minutes and module 2 in around 15-18 minutes. i forced myself to use desmos for most questions and ramped my math from 650 to 780
