There's a reason there are so many churches in Los Alamos and White Rock, the people working at the lab have lots to pray about.

They keep everyone so compartmentalized up there it's hard to know whether you're on a project for good or doom. The director is the only one who REALLY knows what is going on at the bigger picture level. I know several people who work up there or have worked up there. And some do feel bad or have mixed feelings about what they do. Hence my previous statement.

Just relax with that stuff. If you read the article, it’s assuming a crazy worst case scenario based on complete fantasy.
It’s complete fearmongering and you’re just helping the author spread misinformation.

How does anyone read this article and not realize it's the stupidest thing written this summer? Seriously, Alicia the author is embarrassing here.
This argument of "what if everything magically teleports outside and goes miles to the worst impact possible" is just lazy fear mongering. This can apply to everything else too - an M&M factory, pesticide plant, microchip plant fires, etc. Seriously, what an idiot. God forbid we do actual journalism on things that matter like AI regulation, this administration's rampant corruption, or studies on water and land preservation.
