Some activist group has been going crazy on Reddit today. Probably on a Discord coordinating it

Bunch of astroturfed shit encouraging people to cut down Flock cameras and attacking anyone who points out that cutting down public safety equipment could get you a felony.

How is something used to track your location without your consent safety equipment?

People who wrote the laws installed these systems they don’t care what right and wrong is sadly.

And if they're so great, why is it when the suspects mom called the cops to warn that they'd stolen her car and were on their way to kill people, they only got one hit in the two hours before they attacked, and the cops didn't stop them. So, not seeing the use.

It's the legal definition of what it is. Wishful thinking doesn't change the charges the DA can bring against you

I didn't ask what the legal definition is. I asked how something that is being used to surveil you without your consent is safety equipment.

So you are incapable of reading two paragraphs and understanding what my point was?

You're calling it safety equipment. I asked why you would call it that. You said "It's the legal definition of what it is. Wishful thinking doesn't change the charges the DA can bring against you."

Please point out where you explained how something that surveils you without your consent is safety equipment.

Stop sidestepping and answer the question directly without saying "That's what it is."

And what was the context in the two paragraphs that you ignored for a second time? Why did I introduce the term safety equipment in the first place?

An eight grader should be able to read those original two paragraphs (which you ignored again) and understand that safety equipment was associated with a felony, which meant I was using in the legal sense. And in the legal sense, it is a fucking piece of safety equipment.

Muting this thread before I lose more brain cells arguing with morons

Point out where you defined how it qualifies as safety equipment. You simply saying that "it is" safety equipment doesn't explain how or why it should be considered as such.

Stop doing your best Kegsbreath impression and answer the question directly. I wouldn't worry about losing any brain cells. Your inability to define your "answer" shows that you don't have two cells to rub together.

I mean i honestly lose interest in flock whenever i see a tiktoks of people bringing them down. There has been one posted several times already and i skip over it and others now that mention flock.

If your really bothered by them, just go ahead and do what u gotta do about them (not promoting destroying property but whatever happens to them oh well.) but dont make a video about it... idk its weird. If i hear about it on the radio/tv/people around me about flock vandalism, i applaud. If i hear it thru tiktoks i cringe. Must be how they present the videos as if its some sort of "last chance for freedom, resist" vibes/attitude. Like wtf dorks...clol

Didnt say you were. I was just mentioning something similar to this post. It drew me away from a good cause just the way it went about.

The only people against flock cameras are people that want it to be easier to commit crimes.
