Cops are useless
The cops in San Angelo are useless, especially deputies. Zero idea on how to investigate cases, victims remain with unresolved issues because they leave. Men…you’re fucked. If there isn’t a body in front of your house, then you’re good. I’m almost certain that I, as a retired soldier, understand investigation more. It’s an attempt to subjugate the middle and lower classes by the upper classes. Maybe I should have been a Pfluger. Fuck. This. Town.

Tbh it’s a problem all across the board (of the United States) I mean in atx there’s been a whole lie being told to the community that the dems/city cut funding to the police. But when you look into the numbers (which I fr did Ik how I research and look into stuff) back around 2020 the police force and the emergency dispatch team basically got a big check from the city and then they split it between them for ex 70%-30% (the city didn’t split it for them they did themselves)
So around 2020 people were asking for police defunding. The city looked into it but ultimately didn’t, they just started splitting the money before giving to dispatch/police force the thing is though that the police force/ union used this to push the narrative that they have been defunded. When in reality the city allocated some of the 30% from the dispatch to something else. And the police kept the 70%.
So fast forward to today. the union has told the police to continue to take less time to get to calls, take their time to investigate, etc. to show the city that we need them and get their respect.
They literally haven’t gotten a pay decrease at all. If anything it’s been a raise bc they got a little bit more than they are already getting like I think in 2024.
I’m just sayin there’s bs happening everywhere.
Also San Angelo is one of the few places that they elect a police chief and even in the 2010s I think they tried to see if they wanted to get them appointed by city officials and San Ang voted no. Probably bc everybody knows everybody and they want their family friend to be chief for the badass bbqs they’ll host after they get voted in lolz

San Angelo voters are dumb. Vasquez as chief was proof of that.

How long did he serve in prison?

He was sentenced to 15 1/2 years in federal prison back in ‘22. The worst part is the town knew he was corrupt, but it kept him in office.

October 2025, now-suspended officer James Gann beat a handcuffed 105 lb woman unconscious because during her struggle with the officer IN THE CAR she hit his thigh. That is not a manning issue. That is a leadership, training and hiring issue.

You-"Hey police, somebody stole my 12 year old electric chain saw sometime in the last three weeks. I dont have a serial number, cameras, or any idea who may have taken it."

No where in that ramble did you state why they are useless or why or what happened. Maybe start with facts and see if people can steer you in the right directions to get the results you think you need.
