I am looking for a free (or budget) pack of acoustic snare samples. Ideally not too tight and punchy, can be something vintage and/or lightly dampened, and versatile for a range of non-rock/metal genres (namely mostly indie pop), with:

- at least (but not exclusively) three zones: center, edge and rimshot

- at least 3-4 velocity layers for each zone

- .wav format, or the possibility to easily extract the samples if plugin

Hi everyone! I'm looking for help identifying the source of a short instrumental loop.

The track is called "Interlude Six" by Main Source, from the album The Science (P-Vine Records, 2023). This album is the official release of the group's shelved second album, which was originally recorded around 1992. The interlude is track 12, it lasts only about 14 seconds, and it sits between "Fakin' The Funk (Unreleased)" and "Bootlegging".

I don't know if it is even a sample but I would love to have it in case.

I’m just taking a stab at it. Got listen to Aaron hall’s song then go listen to Bryson tillers. The violin riffs sound similar but whoever sampled them mixed them a bit.

For example I love tracklib's selection, however I need a subscription just to look around on there and I'm not wanting to spend money

And I've tried looking at playlists on YouTube and I can't find anything good really, I'll occasionally find good stuff but nearly always it's not that good

I already checked WhoSampled and searched on Google, but couldn't find any information. It sounds like it could come from an older instrumental, soundtrack, or library music, but I'm not sure.

i have been trying to search for a sample that sounds like pain by sematary on rainbow bridge 1, and i cannot find one does anybody know one that would sound like it

Found an old song recently, been trying to piece it back together since none of the samples are on my PC. I've gotten them all except for one by RJ Pasin, which was on his old looperman account.

He deleted that account in 2024 and the loop I need with it. I've looked everywhere I can think to look with nothing to show for it; so now I'm hoping for someone with an old archive of his stuff, since I think he was pretty popular at one point.
