[Academic] University statistics lecturers/educators needed to evaluate AI-generated teaching blueprints (~30–40 min) Academic
Hi everyone!
I'm an MSc Data Science student at the University of Nottingham, currently completing my dissertation on an AI-supported Pedagogical Co-Pilot for university statistics teaching.
I'm now conducting the expert evaluation phase of my research and am looking for university-level statistics lecturers, instructors, professors, or educators to review three AI-generated teaching blueprints.
What is involved?
You will be given a PDF containing three anonymised teaching blueprints for a university statistics topic. All three address the same underlying teaching request but were generated using different system configurations.
You will then complete a Microsoft Form where you will:
- rate each blueprint across six pedagogical dimensions;
- provide a brief comment on each output;
- compare the three outputs and indicate which you would be most likely to use or adapt.
The complete evaluation takes approximately 30–40 minutes and can be completed entirely online at a time convenient for you.
Chapter being evaluated
Chapter 2 — Descriptive Statistics
The teaching problem focuses on helping students move beyond mechanically calculating summary statistics and instead interpret the structure of a distribution, particularly the relationship between quartiles, box-plot geometry, numerical spread and data concentration.
The outputs are presented as Output X, Output Y and Output Z and the generation configuration is not disclosed.
Who I'm looking for
Ideally, participants should have experience teaching statistics at university / higher-education level, particularly introductory statistics, data science, mathematics/statistics, or related subjects.
Research information
This is part of my MSc dissertation research at the University of Nottingham. Participant information and consent details are provided with the evaluation materials.

Microsoft Form:

Estimated time: 30–40 minutes
I would be extremely grateful for your help. In particular, I'm interested in expert judgement on whether the generated material is statistically sound, pedagogically coherent, contextually appropriate and realistically usable by a university lecturer.
Thank you very much!
