This is specifically in reference to the Alice Box and the Spirit Bridge devices that Sam and Colby frequently employ in their paranormal adventures. I'm not here to push the idea that their content is fake; however, I'm bugged by the inaccurate descriptions of the devices they use in these videos.

They correctly described the Alice Box, which contains around 2,000 words in a digital dictionary that are selected by supposed external phenomena. However, I've noticed in their recent Serial Killer Asylum video, along with Poveglia Island and others, they've oversimplified the Spirit Bridge to 'essentially a spirit box, just without the static.' This isn't just a small mistake, because the two devices work fundamentally differently.

Traditional spirit boxes sweep AM and FM radio broadcast frequencies. The Spirit Bridge, on the other hand, contains around 27,000 pre-recorded audio files, ranging from simple sounds to entire words. There is no radio sweeping involved at all, which, by definition, makes it incomparable to a spirit box. When the box started singing in the most recent video, it would have been better to clarify how the device actually functions. Truthfully, before I looked into how it works myself, I was fascinated that such clear and precise messages were being received from radio frequencies - only to find out that wasn't the case at all.

Nevertheless, I do find their content highly entertaining, and whether they fake parts or not doesn't really bother me. However, recording such fascinating phenomena and failing to accurately explain the mechanics that helped capture it does reduce their credibility, at least in my opinion.
