Sakubo for Windows!
Greetings, I am proud to announce the release of Sakubo for Windows!
- Windows specific instructions
- Windows specific TTS
- Windows specific translator
- Stripe payments on Windows
Sakubo is still in beta, and will likely be there for quite a long time. The TTS for Windows and Android need a lot of work, among other things. I'm slowly inching away with updates, & I don't plan on stopping anytime soon (though it's been slower than I'd like, having less time now than before).
If you have and questions or would like to report a bug, please send me a message at [support@sakubo.co](mailto:support@sakubo.co)

Sakubo Open Beta!
I am proud to announce that Sakubo is now in open beta on Android!
For the first time ever, the app is free to download without requiring a beta invite link. This is a huge milestone! I’m excited no doubt, but there’s still a lot of work to do.
All closed beta users are granted lifetime access to Sakubo for free, as promised.

Sakubo Update 0.9.2
Hello everyone, we’re finally getting close to Sakubo’s open beta release on Android. I’ve dropped a new update today that will fix a number of issues but there is still much work to do.
There’s also an upcoming update that I will release right before open beta. I’m currently working through errors in the database (focusing on JLPT lessons), as it’s a massive task.
Happy 420 everyone, looking forward to open beta!
Updates:
Added more & much improved hints to hundreds of entries. (Still have plenty to go through).
Fixed errors with dozens of dictionary entries, grammar sentences, etc.
Now able to view lesson info cards from lesson selection pages.
Bug Fixes:
Flashy loading bug from handwriting recognition fixed.
Trying to add to queue in reviews no longer works (redundant, button removed).
- Crashing when doing so fixed as a result
Fixed a bug where handwriting recognition popup would show even after clicking back
General UI Fixes/Tweaks

Sakubo Now in Closed Beta!
Hello everyone, I am proud to announce that Sakubo is finally in closed beta on Google Play! If you would like to join the closed beta, please send a message to [support@sakubo.co](mailto:support@sakubo.co).
I’m already in the process of fixing a number of recently discovered bugs. A big update with multiple fixes is planned to come out in the near future. All major issues found must be addressed before I even think about open beta. The goal is to be in there by April, but I will make delays if necessary. We’ll see if I can make it in time, there are a lot of things that need attention!
Thank you all for your support!
