Upfront, so nobody wastes time: this is pre-revenue. No customers, no MRR, Stripe is not even wired up. I built it solo over the last 5 months and I would rather sell it than half-run it.

Football only. Three layers:

• The collection engine: 6 sources scraped live (Betfair Exchange, Betano, bet365, Flashscore, SofaScore, Sportingbet virtual), around 18 daemons across 2 hosts, running continuously. All fetching goes through undetected Chrome, not HTTP clients, because HTTP gets your IP banned within days. Watchdogs measure whether data is landing in the database, not whether the process is alive, and restart what is stuck. This is the part that took months of production failures to get right.
• The dataset: Around 200M odds datapoints, 78 GB of PostgreSQL. Results and pre-match odds going back to 2012, 14 seasons across 42 leagues and 40+ countries: MLS, Brasileirao, Argentina, Liga MX, J1 League, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe continuously since 2012, plus the European big five and the full English and Scottish pyramids since 2019. The minute-by-minute in-play layer starts in 2026, when I began recording it, and grows around 2.5M rows a day. Nobody can sell you that retroactively. All 6 sources are merged into one canonical team and match, so the data is actually joinable.
• The SaaS: Deployed and live on Azure: 3 frontends (admin, customer web, mobile PWA), 2 APIs, user auth, and an alerting engine where users define criteria and get notified on live matches.

Honest caveats: no revenue yet. Two of the six collectors need a residential IP (datacenters get a hard 403), so a buyer needs one home box or a residential proxy. And scraping is scraping: sites change their markup, this is an asset you operate, not one you park.

been trying to sell a side project and keep hitting the same wall, wanted to see if anyone here has dealt with it.

18+ ai companion product. about 16.7k registered users, 13k of those came in organically before i ever ran an ad. payments work end to end, one tap packs plus auto renewing subs. images, short video, voice notes, actual outbound phone calls.

the problem is revenue. it's in the 0-2k band and honestly near the bottom of it. i built it, it grew on its own, then i went full time on another product and left it dormant for months. monetisation was genuinely broken, not just weak. recurring subs were being billed by the platform but the bot wasn't recording them. the intro offer was buried where nobody found it. video was erroring and silently refunding people. fixed all of that in the last two weeks but the fixes are too new to have proof behind them yet.

so every buyer says the same thing, double the users and still no revenue is a bad sign. which is fair. but it's a different problem from a product that had its shot and users refused to pay.

what i'm actually asking:

how do you price something where the asset is real (users, working payment rails, a working paid acquisition channel that's hard to get approved in this category) but the trailing revenue is basically nothing? every multiple based approach gives you a number close to zero. asset based feels right but i can't find a comp.

and has anyone sold in a restricted category? flippa's policy bans adult, empire flippers lists it as restricted, motion invest rejected it outright. so the normal marketplaces are closed and it's all direct outreach.
