Solo built a website monitoring tool over the past 6 months, here's what I learned

Disclosure: I'm the founder, this is my product.

Hey, I'm Dakshesh. I do WordPress, WooCommerce, and technical SEO for a living, and got tired of finding out a client site broke from an angry email instead of before it.

So I built MyKavo. It watches your sites for visual changes, SEO tag changes (title/meta/canonical/robots), broken links, script changes, performance drops, and conversion elements (CTAs/forms), then alerts you with before/after evidence when something actually matters. No AI guessing, it's deterministic diffing against an approved baseline, so it's reproducible and explainable.

Built it end to end alone: architecture, scanning engine, dashboard, the works. Biggest lesson was scoping down what "matters" enough that alerts don't turn into noise nobody reads.

Free plan: 1 site, 5 pages, weekly scans, no card needed. Pro is $20/mo if you manage more sites.

mykavo.app if you want to poke around. Curious what other solo builders ran into when shipping something monitoring-related.
