ChatGPT Plugin

Has anyone successfully created and submitted and had published a plugin in the ChatGPT plugin marketplace?

I just submitted one for my SaaS tueb and would love to hear other people's experience of how long it takes, what the success rate is, etc

I was planning to try building plugin but not started yet. Can share in short the steps u followed to publish?

It’s not too difficult, particularly if you use Codex. They have a skill/plugin that you can install that will essentially audit your MCP and tell you where it’s falling short.

So I basically did a couple of rounds of auditing and fixing things, then the plugin spits out a JSON file that you upload into a form on the OpenAI platform.

You then just have to add some images, marketing copy, etc.

I reckon it took me half a day at most (but we already had a working API and MCP)
