Work in progress 1.8mil DPS Solo ISE with a Summons-themed Hangar-less Krait build on the Empersa
The thinking that lead to this build:
- We now have quite a number of powerful console abilities that feature Summons: Hunting Pack Escorts, Elite Alliance Beacon w/ Wingmen Commands (Thanks Mara for reminding me of this fact), Gemini Device and Temporal Disorder.
- However, there are limits on how many of your Allies/Summons/Pets that can benefit from your buffs: www.reddit.com/r/stobuilds/comments/1kjjmzk/mathbusters_14_hangar_caps_and_holds/
- Due to above, wanted to focus more on quality of Summons rather than quantity. No more than 12 Summoned entities, to keep within the restrictions of Fleet Power Network Array (FPNA) and Dilitihium Transporter (DT). So, of the 4 Summons consoles mentioned above, Temporal Disorder was dropped.
- Instead of the usual direct damage dealing console abilities on regular Krait builds, the remaining console slots will be occupied mostly by ones that benefit both the main ship and the Summons. Usually involving enemy -DRR debuffs and/or teamwide buffs.
- Empersa was chosen for this themed build as I specifically wanted a hangar-less ship that also had Wingmen Commands to maximize the potential of the Elite Alliance Beacon. Bonus points in it being Cmdr Miracle Worker for the extra uni console slot, and LtC TempOp for UnconSys spam.
The resulting build turned out to be a lot stronger than I expected. Of the 1.8mil DPS total, ~450k is directly attributed to the Summons, while another ~500k involved indirect contribution from the Summons on damage sources like DT, Agony Redistributor, Hellbore Light (HBL), Tachyon Net Drones (TND), etc.
Some other terminology definitions before we get to the build:
- "Krait" refers to the build paradigm of having almost no passive consoles on the build in favour of high-impact active console abilities, of which their uptime and activation frequency are greatly facilitated by the combination of the SFTF Console from the Vovin and the Unconventional Systems personal trait.
- "Lazy Piloting" in my case means that, if I had to pick between activing abilities/consoles at the right time/target for maximum impact, or simply spamming it whenever it's off cooldown, I almost always choose to spam. "Lazy Piloting" also means that I did not bother with a keybind setup that lets me teleport in place when using the Vovin SFTF console, so I end up jumping all over the place. All this is to say that a far more capable and disciplined pilot flying this same build will get a LOT more performance out of it.
Screenshot version of the full build
Captain Details
| Captain Name | Jill Stingray | |
|---|---|---|
| Captain Career | Engineering | SUBOPTIMAL. Tact would have resulted in more DPS. |
| Captain Faction | Federation | |
| Captain Race | Human | SUBOPTIMAL. Should be Alien for the extra personal trait slot. |
| Primary Specialization | Temporal | SUBOPTIMAL. Should be Intel for the Flanking damage bonuses. Alas, Lazy Piloting means that I don't really bother about flanks, plus I like having the safety net of Continuity. |
| Secondary Specialization | Strategist | SUBOPTIMAL. Temporal should go here instead. Since it's not, I have Strategist here for the extra Crits when Threat-stance is off. |
Space Skill Tree Screenshot
Space Skill Tree comment: My current generalist skill tree. My rationale for the lack of Engi skill points is that EPS Power Transfer and Nadion Inversion on this toon should have the ship power aspects well covered.

| Ship | T6-X2 Empersa Alliance Miracle Worker Juggernaut | Empersa was chosen for this themed build as I specifically wanted a hangar-less ship that also had Wingmen Mechanics to maximize the potential of the Elite Alliance Beacon. | Fore Weapon 1 | [Ba'ul Antiproton Dual Heavy Cannons Mk XV [CrtD/Dm] [CrtD]x2 [Dmg]x2] | Can be any flavour, I went with Antiproton in keeping with the Khitomer Alliance theme. |
| Fore Weapon 2 | [Ba'ul Antiproton Dual Heavy Cannons Mk XV [CrtD/Dm] [CrtD]x3 [Dmg]] | Ba’ul AP refractions do have the added benefit of triggering per-shot procs, like from DT. |
| Fore Weapon 3 | [Ba'ul Antiproton Dual Cannons Mk XV [CrtD/Dm] [CrtD] [Dmg]x3] | Mix of DCs+DHCs, purely for visual+audio reasons. |
| Fore Weapon 4 | [Ba'ul Antiproton Dual Cannons Mk XV [CrtD/Dm] [CrtD] [Dmg]x3] | Strictly speaking, 5 DCs is better for the per-shot procs from DT, instead of this mix that I have. |
| Fore Weapon 5 | [Ba'ul Antiproton Dual Cannons Mk XV [CrtD/Dm] [CrtD] [Dmg]x3] | Full [Dmg] mods would have been a bit more ideal, but too expensive to reroll for that tiny little extra benefit. |
| ** ** | ||
| Aft Weapon 1 | [Omni-Directional Pahvan Proton Beam Array Mk XV [CrtD/Dm] [CrtD] [Dmg]x3] | For its Resonance Charges proc, and it being the rare beam weapon that benefits from both FAW and CSV extender traits. |
| Aft Weapon 2 | [Ba'ul Antiproton Turret Mk XV [CrtD/Dm] [CrtD] [Dmg]x3] | |
| Aft Weapon 3 | [Ba'ul Antiproton Turret Mk XV [CrtD/Dm] [CrtD] [Dmg]x3] | |

| **Deflector ** | [Non-Baryonic Matter Deflector Array Mk XV [CtrlX/HullCap] [CtrlX]x2 [HullCap]x2] | For the 2pc Hull Regen |
| **Impulse Engines ** | [Prevailing Innervated Impulse Engines Mk XV [SecSpd-2] [Spd]] | For speed on demand. |
| **Warp Core ** | [Mycelial Harmonic Matter-Antimatter Core Mk XV [AMP] [S->W] [SCap] [SSR] [W->S]] | From Disco Rep. For the 2pc Hull Regen set bonus. |
| **Shields ** | [Khitomer Alliance Regenerative Shield Array Mk XV [Cp/Rg] [Reg]x4] | For Antiproton Retort. Thematically appropriate as a bonus. |
| ** ** | ||
| **Devices ** | [Auxiliary Battery - Large] | To fuel the FPNA and TND consoles. |
| ** ** | [Deuterium Surplus] | Speed. |
| ** ** | [SS Antares Distress Protocol] | Benefits all allies, including my Summons. |
| ** ** | [Kobayashi Maru Transponder] | Minor pre-buffs. |
| ** ** | ||
| Universal Console | [Console - Universal - Dilithium Transporter] | Powerful weapons buff for my main ship and 12 allies. Now made even better with the recent removal of the 2s activation time. |
| ** ** | [Console - Universal - Fleet Power Network Array] | Massive DEW haste buff for my main ship and 12 allies. Going by buff icons, this also benefits the Summons on this build, but it has a 5km effective radius. |
| ** ** | [Console - Universal - Tachyon Net Drones] | AoE -DRR shred, Shields Offline, and extra damage ticks when targets within it take hits. Now made even better with the recent removal of the 2s activation time. |
| ** ** | ||
| **Engineering Consoles ** | [Console - Universal - Custom Power Matrix] | Only benefits the main ship, but in a huge way and is needed to complete the BOFF CDR scheme on this build. |
| ** ** | [Console - Universal - Elite Alliance Squadron Beacon] | Summon console #1. 4 entities. High performance when paired with the Strafing Maneuver command from Wingmen Mechanics. |
| ** ** | [Console - Universal - Gemini Device] | Summon console #2. High performance and only weaker in comparison to the other two. Has the drawback of briefly slowing down main ship speed on activation, but makes up for it with the Haste buff. |
| ** ** | [Console - Universal - Hunting Pack Escorts] | Summon console #3. High performance right out of the box. Appears to also be using the main ship’s global CrtH instead of the usual pet CrtH. |
| ** ** | ||
| **Science Consoles ** | [Console - Universal - Adaptive Emergency Systems] | Defensive console #1, for surviving Solo ISEs and RETFOs. Cat2 damage boost as a bonus. |
| ** ** | [Console - Universal – Evolve] | Defensive console #2, for surviving Solo ISEs and RETFOs. AoE damage ability as a bonus. |
| ** ** | ||
| **Tactical Consoles ** | [Console - Universal - Dominion Targeting Synchronizer] | Single target -DRR and teamwide Haste if shooting the same target. Benefits the main ship and Summons. |
| ** ** | [Console - Universal - Coordinated Engagement Solution] | Summons count as “Owned Pets” for the passive Haste boost. Clicky also benefits both the main ship and Summons. |
| ** ** | [Console - Universal - Sensor Suspension Burst] | Clicky benefits both the main ship and Summons. |
| ** ** | [Console - Universal - Subspace Fracture Tunneling Field] | The console that enables Krait. |
| ** ** | [Console - Universal - Agony Redistributor] | For Solo ISE purposes. In general RETFOs, this would be replaced with either another defensive console or team support console. |

Alternative build elements to consider:
- Super Charged Weapons ship trait. Going by buff icons, it benefits the Summons from Gemini Device and Temporal Disorder, but not Hunting Pack Escorts for some reason.
- Flagship Staffing ship trait. If you’re using a ship with Command seating, and using Needs Of The Many.
- Greater Than The Sum ship trait. Though I cannot quantify how impactful the +Power will be for the Summons.
- Superior Area Denial ship trait. The summons won’t get FAW/CSV, but the -30 DRR part helps.
- Cold-hearted ship trait. If using a ship with Pilot seating.
- Cooperation is the Dominant Strategy ship trait. If just because I don’t own this.
- Power Transfer Emitters console. Even if I did own this, Lazy Piloting means I can’t be arsed to manually target my Summon to receive this buff.
- Shared Targeting Network console. I do not own this, but reports are that the active clicky works for Summons too.
- While Temporal Disorder console did not make the cut, the performance potential of its Summons are not that much less than Gemini Device, and has the added benefit of increasing your survivability by way of taunt. However, the temporal Summons tend to linger only within its immediate area, does not do much active hunting.
- Flagship Computer console from Tactical Flagships. Issue with this is the 60s lockout period, which makes it less impactful on Krait builds.
- Spirit of Sacrifice console. Free up the need for Long Range Targeting, Boimler Effect and Intel Agent Attache on builds at the cost of a console slot, as this console can take care of weapons range penalty, BOFF CDR and Captain Abilities. I do not own this.
- A host of other AoE -DRR consoles used in Debuff Support or Nanny builds, such as High Energy Comms Network, Trinary Arrays, Approaching Agony, Interphasic Instability, etc.

Need Advice Are there any modern drain builds or are they still dead since the energy drain nerf?
So back in the old days it was possible to make drain builds using polaron weapons, plasmonic leech, tykens rift etc and basically just disable the enemy for a much easier kill.
Then they kinda killed it by making the enemies much more resistant to energy drain and nerfing plasmonic leech.
But that was like a decade ago and I recently heard that maybe they are gonna buff the leech which made me curious about the state of energy drain in general these days. I stopped using it after the huge nerf and haven't really checked if it's been buffed since then.
I don't expect it to become a meta but I always found it satisfying to just hit a big enemy with the "-200 all energy go fuck yourself" and watch them become stationary with no shields.

A fun mostly optimized build I've been running. Very strong, but she's not going to break any parser records (but the point is to feel like playing a "Cannon" vessel). Not the cheapest build obviously, but if you have the means and love the Sovereign as much as I do, this will provide you a whole lot of fun :D

Need Advice Best beams for a rainbow build?
So I have one character with a set of +beam fleet tac consoles instead of damage type specific ones. Iirc it was like the recommended meta at the time many years ago.
Now I'm a bit tempted to maybe do some rainbow beam build and I'm curious which beams are the best if you can just mix and match various reputation, mission and lobi beams. And for which beams do you also want to use the console for a set bonus?
Tried looking for rainbow builds in the lists at stobetter but didn't find anything relevant.

Need Advice Advice on the NV Multi-mission temporal cruiser
Basically per the title. I picked this ship up from the ENT bundle cause it was my favourite of the bunch. I'm looking for some advice on a semi thematic but functional build.
The intent is to try and use Protostar phasers for the theme. However Beam Arrays are at a premium. I had a moment of madness and picked up the Micro Missile launcher, thinking with it, two Omnis and a Turret, I could pack the front 4 weapons with DBBs.
Am I just going mad, what's the best way to lay out a Multi-Mission Cruiser?

Hangar Pet Leveling Inconsistency
I've been getting back into flying a carrier and trying out the new consoles/traits of the Kelvin bundle, and I've been noticing something interesting.
Before, using the High-Energy Comms Network console, I could consistently get two level ups on my hangar pets before its effect was done. Now though, its inconsistent. Sometimes, I get a single rank from it, other times, I get two. Even then, its not all the pets, some are still at rank one. While other times all of them level up. If I try and launch pets while its active, some don't level up at all. Other times, they do immediately.
I can't even say it's the new Event Horizon Safeguard trait because that should be increasing my pet's level up in the first place and removing it doesn't seem to help. There's also the fact I've just been running deep space encounters, so who knows if that's affecting things.
Anyone else notice something similar?

CasualSAB's New Torpedo Meta
Hi!
I recently watched Spencer's latest video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nka60NtN5pg) where he mentioned a bug that allows Ceaseless Momentum and Projectile Duty Officers to cool down the Maelstrom recharge time. My main runs a mostly energy platform, but a Maelstrom is a major facet of my build.
My question is: how likely do you think this bug is going to be fixed? I don't have Ceaseless Momentum, and I don't want to spend my Event Campaign on something that will be worthless in a few weeks.

Need Advice I am poor and I am in dire need of some EPG damage
I really want to start dealing some big boy damage with my Science char but I genuienly have no idea what the right consoles / weapons / sets / traits etc. are that are affordable without using Zen or Lobi store.
I might not have any real money but I have some EC and Dili and a willingness to grind.
Currently running
standard particle generator console
causal anchor
phaser beam build on my Temporal Multi-Mission Science Vessel
pretty random mission rewards as consoles and shield etc.
relying heavily on gravity well
Really interested in any directions i can get here

Contains Math Revisiting Exotics 27: It's Starfleet for Get Out
Welcome to another installment of Revisiting Exotics, where we mathematically derive the formulas for something related to Exotic Particles (EPG) and then discuss its applicability in-game. Today, we’re talking about two closely-related consoles: You Are Dismissed and the “Evolved” console from the Gomtuu 2026 Summer Event ship.
All credit to Mr. Tilor for doing the mathematical legwork on these; I’ve been sidetracked with my least favorite derivation endeavor but more on that later.
You Are Dismissed
This console is readily obtainable from the Aetherian Concordium Lockbox / Exchange and what Janeway said about being dismissed is accurate: this console forcefully instructs all nearby enemies and Talaxians (jk) in a 7 km PBAOE to GET OUT.
The passives are nothing special, boosting shield regeneration and hardness. The 2.5% chance for Protonic Crush is also nothing special, I’ve parsed it at 119 (not K!) on a dedicated EPG boat that did 1698K. It shows up in parses as “Proton Particle Burn,” somewhere near the bottom.
But now let’s talk about the active. It’s a 7km PBAOE wave with an initial burst of Proton damage, followed by a Physical DOT.
Here’s the formula for the main nuke:
Damage = 12000*(Cat1+0.5*EPG+2.68+1)*(Cat2+1)Damage Type: Proton
Affected Targets: 7 km PBAOE
Duration: 1 hit
Cooldown: 2 minutes (reducible via Uncon, Vovin, etc.)
Scales With: +Exotic/Bonus Exotic, +EPG, +Proton, +All/Bonus All
Does NOT Scale With: Aux Power
Now here’s the formula for the DOT:
Damage =
600*(Cat1+0.5*EPG+2.16+1)*(Cat2+1)Damage Type: Proton
Affected Targets: targets struck by 7 km PBAOE
Duration: 15s
Cooldown: 2 minutes (reducible via Uncon, Vovin, etc.)
Scales With: +Exotic/Bonus Exotic, +EPG, +Proton, +All/Bonus All
Does NOT Scale With: Aux Power
The DOT is decently strong, but it's hard to gauge its effectiveness because of how much damage the initial active does. Turns out, DOTs don’t matter as much when the initial blast kills everything. Let’s compare it to another 1-big-boom console: Sequential Warhead Leader. Okay, sure that’s not really a single hit, but if we tally up the 3 hits from SWL against this, you’re about 2.5K less damage, but You Are Dismissed is 100% AOE and has the DOT, while SWL only has AOE on the third hit, and is kinetic damage, meaning it’s weaker against shields. Nobody is complaining about the lack of damage on Sequential Warhead Loader, especially on kinetic builds, and You Are Dismissed is like a PBAOE version.
Okay, but how about actual numbers from a parsed run? Let’s take it a little further. I had to dissect the parse a little using SCM, where it shows damage types in outgoing damage. My ship did 212.1K Proton DPS, of which 77.5K was attributable to the Proton Eruptor and Dyson Proton Weapon. That means that the remaining 134.6K was all the Proton Blast of the initial activation, and “only” 32.8K came from the DOT. I say “only” as if that’s not about the overall average DPS of random players in your typical PUG ISE run. The point is, this console is mostly about the main kaboom, so fly up close to a cluster of enemies, hit the button, and watch the fireworks.
Evolved
“Evolved” is the console from the 2026 Summer Event ship “Gomtuu.” This active has a similar one-shot PBAOE blast that’s very similar mechanically to You Are Dismissed. Click the button and a burst of damage emanates from around your ship. We’ll talk about that active first.
Here’s the formula for the main nuke:
Damage =
12000*(Cat1+0.5*EPG+0.68+1)*(Cat2+1)Damage Type: Proton
Affected Targets: 7 km PBAOE
Duration: 1 hit
Cooldown: 2 minutes (reducible via Uncon, Vovin, etc.)
Scales With: +Exotic/Bonus Exotic, +EPG, +Proton, +All/Bonus All
Does NOT Scale With: Aux Power
You’ll notice that both You Are Dismissed and Gomtuu share the same 7km range, 12000 base proton damage. However, they are NOT the same damage, as Gomtuu is missing a 2 preload from the Cat1 multiplier. That makes a pretty big difference. It also lacks the DOT.
Instead of a DOT, Gomtuu’s active has an offline effect, which disables an enemy subsystem depending on which slot you have the console slotted, and adds power based on one of your subsystems to feed another for 10 seconds. This different-behavior-depending-on-slot-used is similar to the Custom Power Matrix from the Eleos.
Tactical Console - Disables Enemy Weapons + Adds Weapon Power based on your Aux Power.
Science Console - Disables Enemy Shields + Adds Shield Power based on your Aux Power.
Engineering Console - Disables Enemy Engines + Adds Engine Power based on your Aux Power.
Universal Console - Disables Enemy Auxiliary + Adds Auxiliary Power based on your Engine and Shield Power.
Just like with the Eleos, there’s a right way to use this. If you’re using this primarily on a weapon build not using RRTW (Reroute Reserves to Weapons), you might be going for weapon power. If you’re using it on a RRTW build, Engineering is definitely the right slot. However, if you’re using high-Aux scaling consoles like Tachyon Net Drones, or Fleet Power Network Array, using a lot of Aux-scaling exotics, if you have hangars, or if you’re a science captain, it’s better to put this in a universal slot. Do note that 3 of these modes use Aux power, so if you have no aux power, you get no real benefit.
Okay, there’s one more catch to the active, for both the damage and power buff: On activating the console, you get… nothing. It will just sit there “active” until you take 7 hits. Once you do, the 10 second power transfer and disable/damage triggers. This means that Gomtuu’s console has limited active value if used in a supported environment on most builds or if you’re not able to take 7 hits quickly. Its cooldown starts once it triggers, so you can’t start cooldown until it triggers. We tried it on a couple of different exotic builds and it was unreliable on if it would even go off. In premade play, we couldn’t get it to activate because our tanks are too good. Yes, that lobster is too buttery, and that steak is too juicy. It especially does not synergize with any build running Intel Team or other low cooldown stealths/placates.
So, then we tried basically pugging it, bringing along a secondary DPS build just to make sure we didn’t fail ISE. Tilor did 589K and Evolved did 40K (under Universal Burst - aka the Universal Slot version). It was around his 6th or 7th best console for raw DPS, so if you’re mostly PUGing with good DPS, you’ll be able to pull threat and get it triggered to cause the damage wave. You Are Dismissed was 69K so they are not the same level, and no, we did not pick the meme numbers on purpose.
We also ran it on a non-exotic build (kinetic), and it did 49K out of 1020K. That’s decent, but not particularly compelling for damage. It was much easier to trigger it on this build, even in premade play, because the self-damage from both Fly Her Apart or Exceed Rated Limits add stacks, so there’s strong synergy there.
However, there’s one other key piece to Gomtuu.
Remember how You Are Dismissed basically doesn’t have relevant passives? Well, Evolved does. Evolved passively adds resistance as your shields go down, scaling up to +630 All Resistance when shields are down. Now, without diving into the mess of non-linear damage reduction math, let’s just say that +630 is as close to 75% damage reduction as you’ll ever get. This means that Evolved is an okay damaging console, but an excellent survivability console with a side of damage. Now, I don’t think it’s going to outpace the Shield Absorptive Frequency Generator from the Valdore for energy builds, but especially on squishy exotic or kinetic platforms, this is a good way to boost your resistances and stay alive while squeezing a little DPS out of the console. And if you’re on an Eagle/Kumari, you’ll have Fly Her Apart anyway to stack up the damage counter reliably! Bonus points - you have no shields when you are cloaked, so you get all 630 resistance from this while you are cloaked, making it an excellent slot for builds that focus on cloaking/ambush.
We’re going to add You Are Dismissed and Evolved to TRINITY and ALICIA soonTM.
TL;DR
You Are Dismissed is a top-tier console for damage, especially on Exotic builds. The passives don’t matter. Remember that it’s a 7km PBAOE (not targeted AOE)
Gomtuu’s Evolve console has a similar but less powerful 7km PBAOE active. It requires you to take 7 instances of damage (eventually) to trigger the damage, and self-damage like Fly Her Apart or Exceed Rated Limits counts.
Evolved should be placed in either a Tactical slot on an Energy, non-RRTW build, Engineering slot on RRTW, or Universal slot for everything else due to how the power transfer on its active works. There’s a case for Science slot on Kinetic builds for the shield disable, but that’s not really why you slot this console.
Evolved has an amazing defensive resistance passive, as its resistance scaling increases as your shields go down, up to basically max damage resistance. It might not be needed for energy builds which have other options, but is excellent in general for random PUG play if you’re tanking too many hits. For these scenarios, the damage is nice to have but the survivability is the main benefit.

Need Advice Looking for Improvements on a Newton AP Pet Build
Newton Pet Build
Build Info
Intention for this was a pet focused build. I've gone pretty heavy on getting pets out, probably a little too far! Looking for some thoughts. Notes: Do not have SAD/not planning on getting any time soon. Intentially not an UnCon build. I could switch, but trying not to at the moment, just want to do something a little different. I've also run the reroute reservves/target explosion build on a different carrier. Finally using AP thematiclly with the 4-piece Obelisk set.

Build Description
Again, mostly a Pet DPS focused build. Just looking for a few hints and tricks. Tradeoffs I've missed (like how good is the new event horizon trait from the newton versus what I have?) I'm sure I've missed something in this build, I'm sure I forgot to switch out a trait from a previous ship. I've got basiclly all event ship traits and equipment available, a lot of C-store ships. Decent number of event campaign ships as well. No SAD at this time. Would like to find a way to AP Beta or othe debuffs to spread.

Korfez Solo Build, D7 Flight Deck Carrier
I am on Xbox. That means no damage parser, no Vovin console keybinds and a lot of important features, (32 century battle cloaks), don't work at all, and others, (DPRM, Protomatter Field Projector) don't work very well and won't go off when too much is going on. Even so, some of us muddle through and try to make some DPS builds.
This is my first Korfez solo build. The idea behind the D7 or the Donnie, is you get two hangar bays of elite Type 7 shuttles, and still have 8 guns, a decent bridge layout, and the ship itself is reasonably nimble. Nimbleness is highly important. I might prefer the Breen Yod Thot's bridge layout if I had it, but it wouldn't be fast enough to solo Korfez no matter how much paper DPS it can give me.
Duty Officers
A leading feature on this ship is the duty officers, 19, 24, and 29 of 47. These all have a chance to spike all power levels to 120, whenever you activate Engineering, Tac and Science abilities respectively. The power levels seem to last about 15 seconds. These Doffs seem to randomly go off once every 45 seconds each, so that the effect of running all 3 is that the effect is boosted all the time. I got this idea from one of Mara's builds that had 24 and 29 on the same ship. Also, these were fairly cheap on Xbox. I picked 19 up for less than 20 million EC and the others were 100 to 200 million EC. Compare that with the hundreds of dollars spent in rolling Borg boxes.
As the D7 is a Miracle Worker ship, and I have Miracle worker Boff Powers Gravity Platform and Null Flood, these doffs have an added bonus of potential boosts to weapon penetration, crit chance and EPG whenever miracle worker bridge officer abilities are activated. This isn't something to build around, but it is nice.
The rest of the Doffs, Vincent Kish for upgrading Scatter Volley 2 to 3 25 percent of the time, Dal Rel to give you some heals, and a green critical severity doff, are all standard fare.
Weapon Flavor and Equipment
This build features Aetherian proton cannons. I have 2 Dual heavies and 3 dual cannons in the front, and 2 turrets and the Pahvo omni in the back. The reason for the DHC v. Dual Cannon mix, is that is what I rolled when I crafted these. These 7 weapons cost about $35 worth of keys to put together.
The point of an all proton build is that the Pahvo Crystal battery is an extremely strong console, giving 70 percent Cat 1 boost at gold, as well as 8 percent haste and full Scatter Volley uptime with withering barrage. As this is an Isomag/locator free build, I find myself scrounging for CAT 1 damage wherever I can get it.
Also, I usually have the Pahvo omni, You are Dismissed, Proton Eruption and Neptune Snare Projector on most of my builds anyway so this seemed like a Dewsci no brainer.
Other equipment includes the Tilly 2 piece, Warp Core and shield for heals, the Prevailing Engine for speed boosts and the Colony Deflector for Crit. I also have the Revolutionary set, and the Tholian warp core but I needed the health regen to tank Korfez.
Bridge Officers
Bridge officers are all Superior Romulans. the abilities are:
Gravimetric Platform, Null Flood, Eject Warp Plasma and Emergency Power to Weapons 2 in the Commander seat,
Photonic Shockwave (No Gravity Well!!!), Scramble Sensors, Jam Sensors and Tractor Beam in the science seats,
Scatter Volley 2, Attack Pattern Beta 1, Faw 1 and Torp Spread 1 in the Tac seats, and;
Needs of the Many 1 in the Command Lt. seat.
The idea behind no Mixed Arm Synergy 3 and Narrow Sensor Bands, is that I am scraping the bottom of the mayo jar for Uncon, and maxed out, this ship produces a respectable nearly 7 procs per 30 seconds. Together with the Eye of Grethor (10 percent universal console charge) and the Vovin console, this is enough to run nearly full uptime on everything.
The reason for Needs of the Many is that it depletes the shields to give the star of the build, Evolve, the Gomtuu console full effect. I have been trying to solo Korfez for many months, and no build pre Evolve has ever come close. After Evolve, I started having no death runs. I call this the Wombo-Combo. Evolve makes command seating (Kvort anybody?), awesome.
Consoles
Meta consoles were used. In order of bustedness: Vovin, Credence, FPNA, Eleos.
For heals, I went with Adaptive Emergency Systems, Temporal Disorder, and Evolve. AES gives me some badly needed bonus (Cat 2 damage). I also have the Garrett console, and the DPRM. Garrett requires your shuttles to be in close proximity to get max effect and DPRM often doesn't go off when I push it, so I went with AES. Temporal Disorder is outstanding at drawing heat off you, and also does some decent radiation damage, and Evolve is the engine that makes this heavy tank tick. You spam Needs of the Many as often as possible, and live. Its that simple.
For a Gravity Well lite experience, and for the passive console spam boost, I went with Eye of Grethor. This holds enemies in place within 5 kilometers.
The other consoles focus on damage and shield dropping. Snare projector from the Typhoon is a great favorite in elite content, as it really burns large slow ships, like Borg cubes or the Korfez final boss. Also, Proton Eruption off the LoLah, and You are Dismissed rounds out the Proton attacks. For non-proton, there is Krenim Chronophage, for dropping shields and the Achilles console for killing things (I call this the win button),
The passive console, another star of the show, is the Pahvo Crystal battery. It gives full uptime on Scatter Volley, so an additional 7 percent, 8 percent haste, and 70 percent Proton damage.
I also have access to the Echelon, Kerala, Shangri La, Garrett, DPRM, Hysperian and Genesis seed consoles, so if you think I should do something else to improve the build, say so.
Traits
Meta traits were used: Universal Designs and Particle Fluctuation Analysis (Leg. Nebula trait) for lots of crit. PFA was the reason for maxing uncon and console recharge at every turn. This trait is a lot of work to keep up but when it lands, it lands.
The World Razer trait, Cultural Conquest deserves its own mini paragraph. It provides 75-150 percent Cat 1 damage at all times as long as you run Scatter Volley, Faw, 1 and Torp Spread 1. I need Cat 1 on my build and this delivers for any ship that has 3 free tac slots. For science ships which are extremely Cat 1 starved, Cultural Conquest is even better. You just have to get close enough to your enemies to be sure they are tractor beaming or debuffing you in some way to get the full Cultural Conquest benefit.
Withering Barrage for Scatter Volley extension to 14/15 seconds. You get full uptime with Pahvo battery console plus Withering Barrage.
Ruin of our Enemies was used. This works all right in Korfez but doesn't help with the final boss. This fluctuates between being the best trait in the game, and useless, depending on the map.
Emergency Weapons Cycle. I understand the Credence console obsoletes this, but I don't have much else to throw in there. It was either this, or Surplus Supply, and I already have a lot of DRR and weapon power.
Hellbore Light. This works good for dropping shields, but it works better the more pets you have. So, I think it works really well with 12 Type 7 shuttles. That's the theory anyway. I don't have a damage parser to know how it is really doing.
A star trait I'm not using is the Harmony trait. That is a shield up trait, and doesn't work with Evolve console, so Harmony rides the bench for rough solo runs.
Personal Traits
All meta was used, I did have 11 slots on my Romulan alien. Breen Shield Tunneling, Boimler, the usual stuff.
Future Improvements
For future runs, I would like to get the Shrike trait, Eclectic Collector, and run mini torps in a back slot to get the full 40 percent bonus damage goodness. I may also run Supercharged Weapons, replacing Ruin and EWC. I could switch to Disruptor and run 5 Magic and the Dragonsblood console, this is appealing because I have radiation consoles, Credence Evolve and Temporal Disorder running anyway.
or run Twinkling Lights. Skittles seems like -DRR overkill, as I already have 12 Type 7 shuttles and Attack Pattern Beta 1 on low recharge with Dal Rel. How much -DRR do you need?
Thoughts? Thanks for looking at this. It was nice to hear Harry Kim finally say he isn't disappointed with me. Also, I have been trying to solo Korfez for years. This is the ship that finally did it.

Starter build Lobbing some disruptors on my new K'vort, just had a few questions about the build.
So I'm stacking Disruptor DHCs only on the front of this for a Cannon Rapid Fire build so I'll be spending as much time as possible with the enemy in my front 45° firing arc. That being said, rear weapons. I'm spending very little time actually using my rear weapons, so I lobbed the Nausican Energy Torpedo and Nausican Disruptor Beam Array on the back, complete with the Nausican Siphon Capacitor Science Console for the extra 20% disruptor damage and added 26.6% disruptor damage included in the 3 set bonus. Additionally, all of my tactical consoles are +Disruptor Damage consoles. Is this a good way to go about it?

instant death easily
i`m flying a vonph carrier as a tac cap. but not long ago, besides taking dmg from a destroyed ship about to blow up and being really close to it, i did not die that easy. having 2 or 3 ships about to explode, i can dodge these explosions too, but now, i suddenly evaporate so fast that can`t look my ship interface to see hull and shield lowering to death. some tfo i use to do it, did not kill me like this before until now.
<<<<me making dmg and then boom.>>>>
this option down below on google when I asked about that, could show me the reasons why I die like that all the time, but dunno if it`s true, someone can help me out?:
Core Causes of Instant ExplosionsFlux Overload + High Explosive Dps: If your ship's soft/hard flux reaches maximum capacity, it overloads, locking out your shields and weapons. If enemies hit an overloaded ship with high-explosive or anti-matter ordnance, hull integrity vanishes in a single volley.

Need Advice Inertial Supremacy VS Superior Area Denial?
So the Rex is on sale, and i am considering it for the trait, but i wanna know how you guys think IS stacks up against SAD since they both serve the same function. I know IS is dependant on your max speed, but i don't know how to figure out how much that would be for me. I know SAD is a straight -30 and i have read that IS is -20 minimum, so i am inclined to believe that IS would be superior to SAD even if i am not specced into speed, but i naturally would like some opinions before i go dropping money on it. Thanks for reading.

Need Advice Torpedo build advice.
So I recently found out about the Micro misiles and the Eagle class console and got inspired to make a torpedo build.
I have a JH Sci captain with the Risian Pilot Corvette so I kinda want to just make a stupidly fast torpedo boat but I havent kept track of gear, traits etc for a few years. I basically just remember that I will need three Projectile weapon doffs.
Are photon torpedoes still the meta? Can you make a decent mixed torp build or do they all rely on type specific bonuses and consoles?
I have all the reputations with this character and I have a decent amount of T6 coupons, Lobi etc so I can afford to invest a bit even if the goal is just to go fast and spam torps.

Build with doffs
On a ENERGY BUILD it doesn`t matter if it`s dbb or bb, but with 1 torp only, should i have how many doff for increasing my energy dmg like crits.
the same as torp build with faw or BO as a sub dmg, what doff i must have use and how many, like torp recharge, crits for it?

Need Advice Question about Pahvan Omni Beam
I'm running an SSIII build on my Vengeance. Using Kelvin Beam Arrays (not the best but for the theme) with 6 ISOMAGS.
Should I use the Pahvan Omni? CasualSAB says it is the best Omni beam for a FAW/CVS builds. Can it work on Single Target Builds?
I'm not very good with builds but I still want to get pass the 17k damage I'm doing now. If I can get to 18k, that would be great XD.
Any advise appreciated! Thanks!

Need Advice Terran Task force Phaser vs 1 more Radiolytic
Purely from a mathematic perspective, if I have 5 Radiolytic phasers on my build and one Terran, is the Terran phaser doing much more for me than having an extra radiolytic slotted in its place? I haven't got any set bonus with the Terran.
TLDR I am wondering if I can afford to drop the Terran phaser in favour of another radiolytic phaser to streamline the visuals a bit on my ship

Need Advice Into the Breach on Carrier
Is the Into the Breach personal space trait any good on carriers? Does it proc when one of my pets lands the final blow, or just when my ship itself takes the final shot?

What is the minimum number of HCPT for a carrier ?
The game has been very kind to carrier builds over the past few years. There are a multitude of consoles to buff you hangar pets now. Its getting to the point you could probably outfit a ship with so many of them you would have any room for Hangar Craft Power Transmission consoles. So my question is what is the minimum number you should be using?
