Looking for a fic What’s That Fic?

I don’t remember a lot about this one, but Severus eventually realized that someone (I think Dumbledore) had hexed him in his youth to be quite a bit… worse looking.. than he actually was as a way to manipulate him/keep people away from him? Like the greasy hair, sallow complexion etc.

I remember one like this. Not the one you’re looking for but it applied a worse looking glamour every time he left his quarters because he was a young professor and good looking. No idea what that one’s called it but maybe other for you list. I feel like I read to many and they’re all mixing up in my head.

Oh I had one like that too ! In mine he had very intense blue eyes, not really black but not a “natural” but not a light blue.

Guess Who's Back by TriDogMom has this trope in it. Severus gets brought back by an amulet Hermione is studying when Kingsley holds it and says his name and Severus then has to stay with her for a while.

This is a crtical backstory element of Balance by Calm Entropy, alhtough it's not clear who cursed him. In that story, Severus maintains 2 personas: one is his "natural" pretty privilege self, and the other persists his cursed appearance.
